Description: | In a world lost within the mists of time, the People of the Sea rule the oceans uncontested by any, owing to their ever-vigilant guardians, the legendary Shadow Ships. Enter Pan Gamma Vizen, the unlikely captain of one of these mysterious vessels and its motley crew. They drink constantly, they gamble shamelessly, and would rather take a nap under the midday sun than toil after glory or riches. The very picture of a lazy, happy-go-lucky ragtag team of sailors.. or are they? In their journeys, they will encouter the last surviving princess from a fallen dynasty, the warrior rummored to be the deadliest swordsman in the world, a fledgeling emperor zealously dedicated to the fulfillment of his divine destiny, and more.. but none more mysterious or enthralling than Pan Gamma Vizen himself and his ever-present, enigmatic smirk. As a potent, ancient magic known as "science" enters the world stage, events quickly spiral into a dark conspiracy that threatens to swallow the entire world in the flames of war. The only man who can hope to make his stand before this storm of storms is the carefree, careless captain of a single black ship. This is the tale of the Sea King. |

Have been binge reading this series up to 30+ volume and i would say only handful series able to match the brilliance of the manga. Pretty much medieval equivalent of LoGH
Thanks for the release Nanaten!
Sorry about that!
That's what putting mediafire link on remote upload field would get me
Am I the only one who keeps on getting a potato when trying to read chapter 25?
Me too, brother....
I just hope this all gets translated before I die (so, in the next several decades, I guess?).
No, really, I mean it. I don't care how long it takes, but I really want to see where this goes.
Thanks for the chapter~

45 motherfucking volumes
Started reading this just now...
chapter 9, after a couple of hundred pages, end of prologue? Holy hell, what'll the actual story length be like?
Well, speaking of theories:
Another Chapter out!
I always enjoy reading peoples predictions and theories on what happens next!
Oh, I forgot to mention in the pages, but we need a cleaner or a typesetter. Maybe a quality checker, just to make sure nothing is misspelled and no bubbles are empty.
Right? Seems that way though, so I'm on your boat. Also, Guan Y...Tuban is here to kick ass and chew bubblegum!
Thanks for the chapter, shortykils!
Enjoy chapter 20!
Oh, and in addition, we're looking for 1 (2 at most) quality checker(s) just to make sure nothing's gone potato before releasing. And if anyone ever spots anything that can be improved on, leave me a message =D
Muchas gracias por seguir trabajando en este manga.
Thanks for the update! ^^
Every time I read this I think that the style is really minimalistic regarding backgrounds. It fits really well with the story and the setting.
I really like how the author uses Arthur C. Clarke's 3rd law as one of the main plot line.
Oh! According to baka-updates, the series ended at volume 45. This means there's still ~40 volumes of goodness left.
