Kai is lucky Bocchi doesn't take the easy way out, honestly (well there'd be no story if she did). I don't think her way of handling this situation was really appropriate. I suppose it's just that we've never really see her attempts to help her friend open up before this, but honestly with someone so shy, I wouldn't be surprised if she became a complete recluse after Kai's ultimatum. It'd be really sad if she'd leave her friend like that if that actually happened.

This could have ended up her never trusting another person again.

Oooooh, you see, I always though that Kai in the serialized version was kinda unjustified in "abandoning" her best friend like that, so I am glad to know that she had a concrete reason to want Bocchi to be more sociable. Indeed, if Bocchi is in a level where she can't even speak to an interviewer(probably has a hard time speaking to lecturers and is going to have a hard time speaking to possible employers), her problem should probably be dealt with by a professional, but that is just me over analysing the fuck out this series. I am just glad I am justified in thinking every single girl is the cutest thing in the universe.
