Wow, so much hate for a sweet slice of life, I liked the series but the ending could have been more of an ending - this is sort of an open end where you expect their life and friendship to just sort of go on I guess. At least it doesn't drag out the slice of life to over 200 chapters like some mangas.
Um... how exactly is this not a satisfactory ending??... I liked it. : ) (The ones forcibly made dramatic would not suit this series, anyway.) Thank you for the scanlators! ^^

The ending is kind of mellow? its not the best ending since I felt like there is so much more that could and can happen, like the MC and the girl that likes him. but the ending ain't that bad
I clearly understand that this is BL subtext and not a yaoi story. I just meant that nothing much has changed in the story. The MC is still the same, the only thing is that he has acquired a new friendship with the blondy and his family.
Well that was a rather understated ending.
