| Description: | Hazuki Kanon is your average female High-School Delinquent. She is often late and skips class in the nurse office, occassionally talking to the male nurse BJ (Kuronada Jun). Tamaki Daiji likes to film stuff that captivates him the instant he encounters it, disregarding consequences. His friend Kihou Tomoka tries to snap him out of it, whenever she sees him stuck while he is late for something else. One day Kanon catches his interest while she stands on the roof of the opposite building. After asking Tomoka, he decides to head to the infirmary where Kanon sleeps occasionally. Kanon wakes up to some strange guy filming her. He even has the audacity to call her "thumb-sucking while sleeping" cute and captivating. So she decides to let him keep the footage if he promises to keep her secret. |

I thought it was a fitting ending. Given the characters personalities, ones expecting a kiss and such were expecting too much. This manga was actually refreshing for how candid the characters were with each other at times. Even Amami's archetype was on the soft side with how she told Hazuki she wasn't trying to be mean, but genuinely wanted her to have a good school life, etc. And it did wrap up things sufficiently with Hazuki and Tamaki that you knew where the relationship was going at the end.
Actually one of the most satisfying love comedies I've read because of all the candidness.
The parent groups got wind of unprotected head patting going on and took measures to intervene.

Standard practice tends to be about three month's notice, and three chapters is often not enough to cleanly tie everything up. That's why short series always seem to take REALLY sudden turns three chapters from the end (a la another series we did, Majo to Houki to Kurobuchi Megane.)
The author even made a joke about the standard "we don't have enough time to tie everything up" ending that shounen series always use, which I have to imagine may be a bit deeper than it might seem.
At the very least, the author had been sort of slow-building to a development for the entirety of volume 3, so it wasn't anywhere near as sudden a turn as many series ends are. So it's difficult to say how rushed the ending actually was and how much he was just overwhelmed with also having to end his other series at the exact same time while also planning for his next (and currently-running) series.

Man what a let down, it probably got axed. I mean there was no kiss,hug or anything even remotely close that. What's more what about the other potential couple, student council president and school nurse?
Eh..... if it really was axe then i can't understand editors, why are they giving such a short notice. Ending is as much important as story itself, it can either improve overall impression or worsen it. SO there's no point in focusing only on story while neglecting ending

the art style was normal for the whole chapter...and then the last few pages were like...SUPER DETAILED MOEMOE DIABETES KANON-CHAN.

I would also be interested what leads to a lot of bad endings, i assume its not so much the mangakas fault as it is a short notice axing. For the most part 1-2 chapters isnt enough time to give a satisfying conclusion even if you had prepared for it which likely in most cases they haven't.
why mangakas can't finish something in a proper way, it's so frustrating.
Dissapointed 100%, the ending was so fucking dumb, it had room for many things but we got the last pages full of bullshit.
