It's over guys, over. This doesn't go further than Vol.3 and the novel has been licensed. We won't hear anything of this for a long long while...
I would kill for the anime to continue, who would had thought a "slice of life" with this setting would work so well.
It's gonna take a long while until we get to a solid plot(s). With Bara no Maria (author's debut work), it took 2/3 into the story for the plot to go into an actual direction (and craziness taken to the max). You must be thinking, "What's BnM gotta do with Grimgar?" Honestly speaking, I see some similarities with Grimgar and BnM, so I can imagine how Grimgar'll turn out. With its current pace, I'm assuming Jyumonji-sensei's planning to write 15-25 books for Grimgar.
Just watched the latest episode of the anime and wanted to check something so I went to the wiki page which may have been a bad idea because there are spoilers on it that even the anime has not covered yet. Regardless, anyone that has read the LN, is there any overall arching plot to this? Seems like a slice of life with no actual direction and I was wondering if there was anything more?
Series has been dropped pray to any heathen God for a new translator.
Cover 02!!
The group doesn't have a translator for this series so....
please new chapter
see, the thing is, there's only one volume of the manga out so far, so even if they wanted to there isn't much to do yet...
Please no betrayal
Sure hope the airing anime would spur people to scanlate the manga since it's closer adaptation to the LN.
Yup, finally that guy died xD... not.
He's to lucky to actually die.
And heck. Whoever tought them....
Duu hobgoblins with better equip then us... lets get em!
Diediediediediediediedie!!!!
Hahahah
Awesomeme, loving to see those faces twisted in fear ,awesome art.
OH JESUS BEAR ALMIGHTY, PLEASE SHARE YOUR WISDOM WITH US SOME MORE
And NOW this is getting really interesting.
I agreed with your first paragraph but not the second, you are forgetting something?
However, not all stories revolving around RPGs is Shounen manga.
I skipped this one at first thinking it was just another RPG world power trip. Instead, it turns out to be a look at what would happen to average people in an RPG game. The horror story vibe seems appropriate
I have to agree with some of the previous comments though. These guys aren't just weak, they are dumb. Even if this was a game, I would try to lure just one of those things out for a test of its strength.
The pacing is pretty good. Delivers "oh shit we're screwed" and the terror that is emphasized in the novel.
Very simple, with only a 1 silver profit for each (which was huge for them), I'd have continued to farm a little more in that vicinity until we were a bit stronger, better weapons, and maybe fine tuned our skills and teamwork (which had improved a lot).
Holy ****, hobgoblins are no joke! You could tell how scary shit was going to be from how illogical and abnormal their appearances are.
Large, heavy-hitting tough guy but without armor and scrawny agile-looking ranged midget in heavy armor. How would you deal with this kind of situation?!
With what? I don't think any of the others have healing spells, and they barely have enough money to get food, let alone potions.
Ummm... What are you guys doing!? Stop staring at his back and HEAL HIM!!
well, that dagger didnt look like it belonged to either of those hobgoblins. also, from what manato mentioned earlier bou those hobgoblins being under someone of higher rank, i already suspect that other party behind all this.
