About Me

BLERGHERS

A portmanteau of 'blergh!' and 'burgers'; no capitals necessary.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy stuffing my face with burgers.  It's just that the word sounds so awesome whenever I say it out loud.  Well, to me, of course.

So anyway, about me - I recently made a wikia account so now I can edit and do stuff on wiki sites (same username, btw).   But for now I'm working my @ss off on Abide in the Wind and Hai to Gensou no Grimgar, and goddamn is it crazy.  shoot, I forgot to edit something.  off to revising pages!

    Hmm; tough one, this.

Recently, I've rekindled my passion for Chinese dramas/movies - it originated when my dad used to bring back VHS tapes to watch at home with the entire family, but growing up and him now gone changed our attentions to other things. Now I'm binge-watching numerous Chinese series again nonstop; it's great to have a change of pace from anime and western TV series.

Manga & anime. I have been a huge fan of this subject for 10+ years, and always will be - it's my guilty pleasure, truth be told. Particularly genres of Fantasy, Mystery, Comedy (DEFINITELY comedy), Psychological, Slice of Life, Adventure and (my absolute fave) Action. And a bit of Romance, so Shoujo stuff is fine (just not too much blushing, please).

And also manhwa. Particularly the Korean webtoons. Whoever thought of the concept of webtoons is a genius - A PURE GENIUS. I always love the splash of color in comics. And the creativity that the drawers can be with the long strips - damn.

I was a fanatic for books in the past, but manga and manhwa drew me away from it. I'm not saying I don't read anymore (I still do, GRRM), but not as avid when I was a wee child. Now that I have an ereader, I've found myself eating up books more than usual at a faster rate. Oh, technology~

Tea is also good. Though it's really hard to find my favorite company for matcha; omija hwachae is nice with honey added to it; and I luuv the smell of genmaicha. Unfortunately I suck at making tea. Bummer.

Oh, and fountain pens. I'm in love with fountain pens. Pilot 78G was my first. And rollerball pens that have a nice feel to them (Uniball Jetstream? RSVP?). What did Charles Dickens say? "There was something very comfortable in having plenty of stationery." Though it all sounds pretentious to you, I'm really not the type to whip out nice pens in public and say "Look, I'm classy" - I keep my awesome pens at home (I've been a victim of having my writing stuff stolen numerous times at school, you see).

Fluffy small animals. Yes, I like to cuddle them and hug them and sleep on their comfy bodies. I have a cat, myself. A fat one. Overweight, really. I should do something about that. I want a dog, too. If you have any recommendations for a breed, lemme know.

And, saving the best for last. Internet. And sleep. No arguments there. Sleeep. ZZZZZZZzzzzzz.
