There are talks of a potential Season 2, which would be a more in-depth look about the main character and his golf career.
Welp, time to go back to waiting on King Golf and He~nshin!! - Sonata Birdie Rush.
My point was that this team had no connection to King of Golf and thus are free to translate whatever comic they want. His insult is just like if someone started translating Sorairo Ageha and some dipshit came along and bitched about how they could be translating Prince of Tennis while insulting the comic they are working on.
It's good enough for a read, IMHO. I haven't read any other Golf manga, so I can't tell you how it stacks up with others.
Me too I was expecting a story more based on the matches after this, the search for his parents, formidable golf champions and potentially the return of Walt to the golf course. Also, a random but generic injury.

That's still pretty stupid the king of golf and this web comic are 2 different languages.
I don't think he was ever claiming as such, but instead saying that they could have picked up King Golf and spent their time far more wisely on that instead. At least that's my understanding of it.
I too came in the hopes of a good golf manga, didn't bother reading though since it's apprently a disappointment.
Hoped for a good manga like King of Golf, was severely disappointed.
Wasting time insulting a comic being translated by a team that does not even work on King of Golf is even more sad

It's mainly a commissioned work by Com2Us for promoting their game. So, the comic was written as a back story for the game itself.
looks like it ... Com2uS is a game company and golf star is indeed one of their games.
while reading the webtoon i was like "doesn't this guy know what a webtoon is?" until i saw the end... i think it's both a webtoon and advertisement ;/
