And I think if you enjoyed reading this the first time you should read it a second time right away for reasons i wont disclose.
Just some stuff youll only really notice on your second time reading.
Would have been nice to see them kiss, but from how they acted and how close they were in the extra chapter, and the room setup, that they are more than friends, but not quite lovers yet. I can see them falling alseep together on the couch, Ebisu resting her head on Hotei's shoulder, their hands linked together in the classic 'lover's handhold.' Nice and fluffy.
Couple years late to the party, but I would have to disagree. I liked that it wasn't right there in your face and felt more like a natural love (as natural as manga can be, that is). Obviously they're very happy together in the end and the extra chapter and that's all that mattered to me.
I liked it.
I completely disagree. The beauty in this work lies in its subtlety. It can be satisfying to see the culmination of a relationship, but this is all about two people with complicated feelings eventually revealing that small honest part of themselves. And honestly speaking, in a work in which the main character spends the whole time covering her real feelings by expressing the opposite vehemently, don't you think she might not get all lovey dovey immediately? I think the work is more realistic for its gentler approach.
Read the last pages of the extra chapter, the editor told them to make it less obvious.
Ah the editor told them to be ambiguous, that explains them never really getting together.
I still liked it though.
I won't say it was bad, but I was hoping for a bit more.
