I agree, it had the potential to be a lot better.
I don't really see why people are so upset about this getting axed. Imo it's not refined enough to make for a good series, it feels more like a long one-shot. Maybe now that the author is finishing up Nisekoi he can try to make something that is more along the lines of this story with action and romance, but with better execution.
Overall a decent read, but not even close to being as fun to read as Nisekoi, imo.
Sry, just read the manga and this comment, just wanted to say that it wasn't so ambiguous in the end, i'm raging hell 'cause i can't see the journey, but i'm satisfied with the end, you just need to take a look at who the writer is XD
An okay premise, but a flawed execution. 19 chapters for the title drop and an unimpressive first showing of the eponymous style were the final two nails in the story's coffin. Such a shame for a cute battle couple.
More could have been done.
Nice story.I'ts a shame that it got axed but the ending was not bad at all although it made you want more.
yes it got axed, yes its way better than nisekoi (same author),
the axe is no catastrophe, in fact its done rather well.
why tf is this axed... I read the first 3 chapters and already fell in love T_T then I looked at the comments and BAM HAHA ASHES SUCKS TO SUCK YOU DICKASS, STORY GOT AXED
X_X why...
At first i was reluctant to read this as this is from the same author who wrote nisekoi which in my opinion is total crap, but after reading here and there positive comments about double arts and reading it, i'm astonished. How in the hell nisekoi has over 150 chapters which is cliched all the time and yet this work has barely overcome barrier of 20 chapter. Of course it's not an awesome or genius manga but still it's very good and ofc better than nisekoi in every way. Really the way publisher company works worry me and even so the taste of japanese people....
totally understand your rage friend, read this a few years ago and even now I still feed the same
i miss this .-.
THIS gets axed but Nisekoi gets the fucking green light? That's it. Japan confirmed for shit taste. I'm done.
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
I really regret reading this now. I hate axed series, especially ones that are this good.
According to Bakuman, not all series that get terminated because they are "unpopular" really are.
It's just that their voting system involves voting for your 3 favourite series.
Basically, if everybody agrees that it's the 4th best, then it'll end up less "popular" than series that noone really likes, but still satisfy the fetishes of the few (who in turn will vote for them).
They should just switch to a "vote for the series you enjoy reading" system, so that every series gets a fair chance at winning.
This is a shame, a damn shame...
When will I see a good Jump manga that ends when it's supposed to end?
dang all that stuff they where building up to... to never find out what happens
Damn it!!
I did not see that ending coming!
AHHHHHH ! ! ! !
I should've not read the ending and left if ambiguous. :'(
he reminds me of roxas/ventus
This had potential......curse you Shueisha.....*sniff*
Screwing the talent is a national past time in every country apparently.
why did it get cancelled? easy it had a plot, no bs superpowers(as of yet), no needless fanservice and a cute brand of romance that is rare nowadays.
still rather than having a rushed end that satisfies no one, the author continued the story like it wouldn't get axed and even if the "ending" came outta nowhere, it was a lot better than rushing it.
so much for "A manga only has to be interesting" I call bull**** on that statement, that's not how shueisha works.
