18 year old Tsubomi has a bit of a weight complex. After graduation from high school, she takes up a part-time job at a video rental store where she is introduced to another male employee, 19 year old Shiro, whose shifts always seem to coincide with hers. Shiro casually mentions that she reminds him of someone familiar. A few days later, while on duty, she bumps into a customer in one of the aisles. He leaves, but not without dropping his membership card, and Tsubomi finds out that his name is Nasukawa, and that he is an acquaintance of Shiro's. Meanwhile, after a song for a commercial comes on, Shiro realizes that Tsubomi reminds him of a famous model in a commercial (her "eyes", at least), who turns out to be none other than Tsubomi's cousin...?! |

I am usually not writing about mangas but this time...
What kind of end is this i'm a little dissappointed...
It's tagged as "rushed ending/axed" on MangaUpdates, yes, (by, like, a whole 2 people) but I really don't believe that's true. The category tags aren't as vigilantly policed on MU.....even if one is being substantially down voted it's still likely to stay until someone reports it......and some people just like claiming things were "axed" if they don't like the fact that a story came to a conclusion they weren't happy with/ready for.
It's just left open-ended, a not too uncommon thing when one's talking about the seinen or josei demographics
Was this manga axed? The ending really was sudden, I thought it would go on for a little longer. And also kind of like it didn't get to the point when it would be more obvious why it has this kind of title. Other plot thread also felt a little stranded.
Gözümü alıyor bunun kapağı yaw
That ending was so abrupt I didn't realize I had finished the manga until I went back later checking for updates. Wow. Great manga but I wish the ending was different :/
Dammit that's the end?
Shiro's totally in denial, but that was a complete cliff-hanger!!!
what an amazing read... if only it would have lasted a few more chapters.
Can´t remember when the last time was that i read a story with such a likable MC. Completely free of artificial sweetener and drama-backstory.
this is one of my favourite mangas, actually best josei I've ever read. thank you soooo much!
I know you read more than me, purple library-san. but you know, that's ikuemi ryo for ya
Translator: Thanks for translating over 100 pages in less than 24 hours.. Thank you!!!!!
Inorite? I really should have looked at the end before devoting the time to finishing it...
How is this an ending?!
What? Its over, just like that? I thought it was going to last longer when they introduced the rival girl and guy but it was resolved fairly quickly. I wished it continued just a bit longer,
Aw, man, is she really going to call the poor guy up to ask his advice about guys? How can she do that to him?
I know she's all clueless and doesn't believe he could really like her and stuff, but dang it, girl.
No doubt, but that doesn't contradict that blood type means jack all. It just means that if you happen to be superstitious in some way, a diet that panders to whatever superstition you happen to have may work well. Doesn't make the superstition true.
Still good, though. Different and good.
Very true. Just paying attention is enough in general.
Actually, recent studies have shown that any diet which causes you to pay attention to what kinds of food, and how much food you eat will cause weight loss. So a blood type diet will work just as effectively as any other kind of diet. So a blood type diet is likely very effective for the people who identify with it.
The only important thing is to make sure that your diet consists of healthy food. Aside from that, find a diet that works for you and be happy.
Blood type means jack all. That is right up there with homeopathy.
