Just finished RAW of v.2, Can anyone spoil me about ending?
[spoil]
-Did male lead just end up meet A long-hair girl in picture and end of his role at that point?
-Did In the end female lead end up with Kashima or was it new freckle guy?
[/spoil]
No, Koume, don't visit that rapist...was there a repeat incident in the end? I couldn't tell with the sudden switch back to Isobe's side....
Once again, this problematic part of Japanese culture of keeping everything in is addressed. I'm glad Asano talks about these sensitive, but important topics in his work. It's come up again and again from Oyasumi Punpun to Solanin, and hopefully can help start some sort of discussion about this issue. Without communication, nobody can get the help they need.
Thanks frostoria for another awesome chapter!
Can't deny is very artistic and the characters are very well picted, but I got some trouble following the timeline mostly at start, but from time to time there are places where I end very confused at the pace
Whoot! Thank you frostoria for picking this up!
But oh man, Asano's art blows me away every time. Let's get through this teenage angsting.
That's because the school doesn't want to make this a public issue and lose its reputation - as in every manga touching the issue of strange stuff happening at school. Seems idiotic, but that's how it is even IRL.
I hope this doesn't stop at 1 more translated chapter. Thanks for picking it up again.
Something I don't get in the new chapter.
OH SHIT somebody started it up again!
I'm so surprised at the quality of this...the photographic backgrounds were aesthetically very effective, the character rendering and development engrossing and altogether a first-rate depiction of adolescent life, angst and drama. ASANO Inio is extremely talented...thank you!
I don't think this kind of manga is meant to be something entirely "attractive" to the reader. Maybe the visual style, but the story as a whole is kinda dark..
The raw of the final volume was released months ago, but no group translated it yet. ):
This is really sad
Reading through this manga just reminded me a lot of my teens and early 20s, only add lots of alcohol (I used to drink 'til I blacked out frequently) and drugs in my case. It took a long time to dig myself out of that hole.
