Agreed, surprising to see an anime adaptation of a light novel that has more content than the manga adaptation (in some scenes), which is quite rare considering adaptations usually cut contents (not sure about the novel since I haven't read it... orz), hope they keep it up in the following episodes ╭( ･ㅂ･)و ̑̑

Damnit, that's backwards, the anime is supposed to have less than the manga. That's our reward for being literary gentleman instead of anime-only children. Psssh, they did the same thing in a certain magical index. I like read damnit, don't force me to watch it. 

 

I'll confess I picked up this series because I read a comic online about how interesting the maid is supposed to be. Yet it managed to keep my attention through the first arc, even though it didn't explain why the gut slicer bitch was trying to kill everyone connected to emilia or why she wanted the damn emblem so bad.

I don't think so ...

usually goes "death in current world and enter fantasy world" ...

not "goes into fantasy world, get death and rebirth multiple time" ...

 

2nd arc ch 12 ...

just as I predict, the death is very stressing to MC (moreover if he get in really hopeless situation) to the point he don't want to live anymore ...

and yet he can't goes suicide either since he will rebirth again ...

Nope.... its a reused cliche... there's a bunch of them out there.

Their is only two i can think of helck and log horrizon though this is the only one with the main plot point is the reviving after death for helck the enemy has them and for log horizon it is some sort of mechanisim though their are certain characters in the series that are borderline crazy/totally crazy because of it which our MC is going to feel later on.

we also have ground hog days but that ain't an anime and all you need is kill so 5 i guess woulden't say that their is a bunch of them out their well fantasy setting yeah and if it's just reviving their are some but all of those have different focuse

Not seeing how he's really dumb or anything. Anyone who would immediately assume their in a loop the first time they died (which happened extremely fast) instead of just being a bad dream or precognition is completely nuts. Furthermore, it's clear by the 2nd cycle he knows something is up that's why he's asking questions that anyone would find odd including himself. He's not the fast on the uptake but, he learns well enough and came grips with his situation with the 3rd cycle.

 

Frankly Subaru's in a situation that makes no freaking sense so of course he's gonna be confused for awhile at the outset, before gets he hand of things. Most people would done a lot worse then he did. I like the fact he came to terms with what might be happening to him (even if the why isn't explained yet) most closely to a normal person rather than some generic genius who knows everything.

 

It helps that he's pretty likable in general.

Good news for you is, that in the sequel he got a lot smarter. (Still ridiculous, but sure catches on fast.)

At first I was "Complete...wait, what!?" after seeing "to be continued" in Japanese at the bottom of the last page of chapter 11. But then I figured that it would simply be continued in "Yashiki no Issuukan-ken" and after checking MAL, seems I was right.

they're talking about the light novel hakomari which just ended at volume 7.
One of the dark light novels translated beside mushiuta, Sunday without god, mushi to medama, and sugar dark.

Hakomari has a couple of arcs related to depressing loops.

Well, in Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria, 277XX loops mean approximately 75-80 years. It's already huge enough (an entire lifetime, as they remind sometimes in the next books) with some things ever changing.

Btw, if you did not read that Light Novel, go read it right now. It's a really great one. The seventh and last volume will be published soon.

It seems (atleast according to comic walker) that the previous manga will now stop. We were under the assumption that there will be a chapter 12 for it becasue..well becasue that's what comic walker said but when the date came they did not released and put a "tba" . So it is safe to say that they will not update that one from now on.

I guess we can mark this as complete then.

From what I understood, until chapter 11 here is part 1, the sequel in the other page is part 2, and from chapter 12 onwards here is part 3. This author jumped so let's migrate temporarily to the other page

Normally you would think it would be but no it is not next month there will be a new chapter. I have no idea what the author thought when he decided to make a sequel at the same time the main one is still on going.
