How is this not an anime? MAKE IT AN ANIME!
I find myself from time to time, with maybe 1-2 years between each time, checking back on this manga. But I've never forgotten how I found myself getting mentally tired from reading so much of it, because it really pushed a lot of details you had to keep track of to understand subsequential action scenes sometimes. The first time I read it, the story was only on like ch. 45-ish and after that I just kept reading each new chapter as it came with a few breaks from my part here and there.
But I keep coming back nonetheless, because when you can remember your favorite parts and explore a little bit of parts you've mostly forgotten but can still recognize then you can truly immerse yourself in the story's brilliant parts without having to read through a mountain of text and details just to get to the next brilliant part.
I didn't agree with the ending when it first came, but having read through it again I can honestly say that I see it with a new light now. However this story is definitely not consistent in its quality, but going through the rough to understand the brilliance in it is definitely worth it all.
Is this really 5 years old? I remember reading it on MS, I thought not more than 3 or 4 years ago. Was searching for the name of it for awhile and just recently found it again.
It was a good read and I'm looking forward to reading it again.
Real shame this never got an anime. This manga is perfect for an anime and yet nothing. Really good read though
Even with the rushed ending and some plot lines not going anywhere this still holds way better than Naruto and probably Bleach considering what kind of shit fest that thing has become(I say probably as it hasn't ended but really the mangaka is gonna need james cameron to pull that thing back up) . Don't know what was wrong with the votes but damn are some of them really asinine to vote this below some of the other crap.
How many years has it been since I read this series? Too many. Time to re-read it, one of my favs
I guess it's not intressting if you have to wait for it publishing all the time.
I would get bored if had to wait for this kind of manga
I found MxO to have the same potential as Yu Yu Hakusho, so it blows my mind why that wasn't continued or animated.
Shounen Jump does a vote on all the manga series that are currently published, so for example with Psyren it wasn't getting the votes. So the author had to change his story (hence why the author started to rush) and after numerous times with getting low votes from the public, it got axed, hence the author is given a deadline on the last issue to finish his series.
Still to this day I have no idea why Psyren and Mx0 wasn't popular in Japan, I mean they had so much potential!
Here is the image of Iwashiro Toshiaki's (author of Psyren) upcoming one shot:
All of my favorite manga has ended... psyren, ichigo 100%, ai kora, etc etc
Yeah, the ending was terrible
Underrated manga.. too bad of its sub-par ending...
WHY DID IT GET AXED???
I miss this series so much >_< I really wish this would become an anime... I tend to prefer manga to anime, but since this is completed I'd love to see it in action...
How many times have I re-read this series...
It's always worth re-reading it...
Why do some scanlators refuse to get proofreaders? It's like they're just randomly throwing away all the work they've put into the scanlation once they release it.
A whole tema who have the reading steiner !
Awesome !
Finally... finally, finally managed to finish it! Computer problems, HDD wipe, more computer problems, forgot where I left off, so I had to re-read everything again, but never felt like it... *sigh*
Anyway, was an awesome read, all over again. Had an happy end too, conversely to what I've been hearing. Though, I kinda woulda wished for an epilogue, that takes place, like, a bunch of years later, with some of the series couples having kids and stuff. Oh well, was still a fun ride.
because most mangaka's in japan are pansys who draw manga's for otaku's or kids who just want ot see violence and fight but no deaths.
Only a few mangaka's in japans are worth praising, and even their series aren't popular no matter how much of a masterpiece it is. Why? Because in the industry all that matters to them are money and daily releases of chpts that can satisfy the fan. Most don't even give a shit about quality or perfectionism. Same here for American sitcoms as well. Just look at the amount of fanservice going around these days in shoujo and shounen.
Their editors are shit.
