Description: | No matter what age it is, the "Bullied Child" will never disappear. The overweight, Middle School student, Haruyuki, was one such kid. The only time he could relax completely, was when he would play a squash game on the local network the school had set up. He loved playing this simple game as he can forget painful times while immersed in it. It was fall. He was passing his time like this until one day, he had an encounter with the school's most beautiful, refined girl, "Black-Snow Princess"(Kuroyukihime), which changed his life abruptly. Introduced to the software she transmitted, Haruyuki learned about "Accel World." A program that enhances one's mind capabilities, with certain side-effects. Spin-off: > Accel World. Wait... this is the end... wtf? I heard the LN is much farther into the story, so why would they end the manga?
EDIT:
I really loved Accel world. The anime was awesome (except for that one arc with the power stealing guy), and the manga was enjoyable too. It's hard to see it end, but I guess that means it's time to pick up the light novel.
I understand my opinion is vastly different from what many others believe, and a lot of people really liked Steins; Gate, but I was let down by an amazing buildup in the first 12-13 episodes that didn't go anywhere in the last 12-13 episodes. I only watched the anime, but I LOVED IT for the first episodes
I understand that my word choices almost 2 years ago were a bit... harsh, so I will change them.
Steins Gate a flop, what you smoking? Whether its the game or anime or manga or the manga spinoff its all extremely popular
Wait what?
DUH
Serves me right to read stuff before going to bed and put an answer here in the morning....
The author / editor / editor wanted to ditch the manga, so they mae a quick almost nonsensical chpater to wrap it up quick and get rid of it.
Sad, but not uncommon when you read serialized japanese manga (last one I had was "I Am a Hero").
Anyays, thanks to the author for the fun, and to the translator for their hard work.
Chapter 42... Best plot twist ever!
Edit: Aww.... they removed it
Esdit 2: And a real chapter 13. Still since it is over....
shhhhhh....
It's more fun this way.
wait, isn't htat eromanga sensei? misplaced chapter?
the changes in the story are ... it almost feel like ch42 is another series altogether.
but well, the harem/romcom remains, so no problem, lol.
... that troll...
.exe lol they still use windows througg

Bleh. Honestly, I sorta like and hate that they had to spell out who those guys were... means they were so easily ignored the first time, but now they're using them again and they still feel like some tiny speed bumps.
Remember that time Silver Crow lost his wings? Me either...
sorry, I spoilered it up, I'm usually good about that, so my mistake.
I also realize my comment sounded harsh, so sorry abouyt that. I really like this, but not a huge fan of some of the stuff. or SAO (more anime than LN though).

For someone that claims to be useless, she's surprisingly useful. That feels like bad writing :/.
Please. Please put big comments within spoiler tags. Thank you.
I'm curious about Steins;Gate being a 'horrid' flop though. Which are you referring to? The game story? The anime adaptation? The various manga? Coz I'm pretty sure the praise for SG is more deserved than with SAO(though I still love SAO) and plenty of time travel fans find it to be one of the better stuff out there since many authors find difficulty in getting time paradoxes to make sense to the audience. Just as an example, very recently, a friend of mine, who is extremely picky about anime and avoids most stuff, considered SG to be the best thing he had seen until he saw Code Geass. Just putting that out there. I know it is your opinion but I'd like to learn more. Perhaps in PM.
That's my honest opinion.
That's a rather new development, previously there wasn't signs of that happening. But with the latest Vol. 19 of the LN, the author has probably reconsidered keeping them separate stories, since now there is a direct link shown to Kirito and SAO. Not unusual for long-running series to change tracks like that.
At the same time, the latest volume of the LN has also further cemented what we've said. Kirito and Asuna are not Kuroyukihime's parents. With her sister being the way she is, the theory that she could be adopted and has different parents now is not probable either.
I'm pretty sure the author said that he wanted to link them at the end of SAO. He's already introduced fluctlight and acceleration in SAO, so even though there's no telling how long he'll keep SAO up and running, he's already set it up.
The author has already said they are not related awhile ago. Given her background, it would have also implied a bad end in the relationship between Asuna and Kirito, or at least a not-so-rosy-family situation, and I think that is not on the cards.
And it is more likely that Graphite Edge, one of the missing top members of the old Nega Nebulus, is the real child of Asuna and Kirito. Kurouyukihime learned her signature moves like Vorpal Strike and Starburst Stream from Graphite Edge, and those used to be Kirito's skills in Accel World. Graphite Edge also has a black avatar with dual blades.
Even then, it could just as easily be the case that these avatars exist the way they do because Kirito could be the designer of Brain Burst. He could have left some tendencies in the system to create dual-wielding black avatars with compatible players.
The way the writing has progressed, whatever the truth is, I doubt you will ever find out. The author does not need to explain where Kirito and Asuna are now or who they're related to, since SAO and Accel World are still essentially separate stories. But I'm pretty sure you can get rid of the idea that Kuroyukihime's parents are them.
Her name hasn't been revealed, but everything actually points to another character that has only appeared in the untranslated parts of the LN, Graphite Edge. He taught Kuroyuki all three incarnate attacks from SAO, Vorpal Strike, Starburst Stream, and The Eclipse. Also, Kuroyuki's family situation is way too messed up for the author to tarnish the almighty Kirito/Asuna pairing.
