Tanaka Meca does some decent shoujo oneshots.
I'll never fully 100% see/relate to the romance, but there were enough natural interactions to make it work.
Also, the humor and surprises were done well that it doesn't need the romance to carry the entire manga, if you know what I mean.
It's not fully focused on the romance, though that's what I'm mainly looking for.
The mangaka inside the oneshot is the best cupid for sure.
Definitely recommend.

Normally, I only read Shounen, but whenever I find a Shoujo this sweet, like Hiiro Ouji or Ouran Highschool, I just have to ignore my own little rules. Thanks 200wpm for this release, this gave this guy a case of the D'awww's.
