The girlfriend breaking up by text, and saying she's eyeing another guy already (Yamamoto, generic name) may look like a dirty move, but I suspect she did it that way to cut things clean and not make him feel guilty.

It's obvious he's somewhat interested in Kuko.

I hope she gets over Ou-chan and chose Sazuku. He looks more interesting than the enamored childhood friend and the tortured artist.

This manga is all kind of awesome, be it the drawing or the pace. And the characters of course (Ibu-chan is so a self-insert of the author, playing with the 4th wall).

In any case, I don't know if she will get with one of the guys, but I sure hope it'll not be Ou-chan. Can't stand him. It leaves us with the childhood friend and the transfer student with a girlfriend back home.

I can't stand the childhood friend trope who feels entitled to the girl, so maybe Sazuku. He seems at least stronger than the others.

And she obviously needs someone stronger than her, so she can rely on him instead of looking down on him.

I know, I know, he's all mad at the world because it moved him somewhere he didn't want to go, and anyway some of what he's yacking has grains of truth to it so it's somehow OK to be a douche to people who haven't done anything to you.  Ya know what?  No it isn't.  If you act like a dickwad to people who never asked for it, that means you're a dickwad.  And all his bullshit about how she's terrible because she doesn't act cute and does cool tomboy things . . . 

And now we know why.

That kinda thinking makes me mad too. Just because you're a simple soul doesn't mean you're stupid or not worth spending time with. Eventually you get to know anyone really well and you can almost say what they're thinking before they say anything. If that bores you and you move on constantly in your life you're the shallow person. Enjoy comfort and contentment people!

Oh man, I was wtf-ed at the beginning and I think that it's moving a bit slow and I couldn't really understand what was going on with her monologues. I really want to see who is going to become the one she ends up with, and honestly I'd really be more than pleased if she ends up with Kiyo, like come on, he has been nice to her and obviously loving her since the beginning and I will be really disappointed if she were to go for Ou-chan or Kunkun. Exactly what does she like about Ou-chan besides his exterior? Overall I want to see more about Kunkun and Ou-chan but I really hope she opens her eyes and goes for Kiyo, unless something exceptional happens and she turns the other way. 

Maybe she likes Ou because he's a moody, brooding artist type?

This is actually a lot deeper than it seems at first.   I'm up to chapter 52 and there is a lot of character development in this manga. 

But Ou-Chan was a complete jerk to her in this chapter.

SHE DOES THE PONYTAIL THING TOO!? Wow. It's so weird seeing a personal habit in a manga. But perhaps that's why it hurts reading this, because I can relate to it. Well, not the exact scenario, but a habit that pops up when certain feelings are about to boil over.

when reading the last few chapters cause it gives a real good mood and i think the beat follows pretty well to all the feelings kuko is experiencing

I like it <3 we dont learn everything about the charters right at once...although there are too many main characters its still something your able to follow or more like want to follow

It's super cool that the cliche manga paths have been laid out by the mangaka through the black-clad girl friend.

(and awww sorry for the mangaka suffering from a stoke.. D: :'( makes you think what effects the lifestyle of being a mangaka has probably been a factor from the stroke)

I mean. Jeez. Out of the three-----it's obvious who I'll be rooting for. Unless there's ANOTHER(!) person being introduced in the upcoming chapters

Artist-dude is also crushing on the wife too [most likely] and I don't really want to see that point of view in the upcoming chapters that much, quite frankly.

I get the feeling this is gonna be one o' those manga where the comments are more entertaining than the actually story. In fact, I wanna read it too, so I can throw my two cents in and leave (hopefully) funny and/or witty and/or helpful comments like the rest of you guys, but as we all know, the alleged sexist chauvinistic asshole will get the girl in the end. Therefore, I feel torn as to whether I should slog through the apparent love triangle to the finish line just for the sake of community, or if I should heed the warning signs, walk away, and pretend I don't know this manga exists.

Sigh. I knew the artist guy would do this... I just really hoped he wouldn't. I dub thee: Selfish Asshole #2.
