I'm trying to compile a list of series that take place in modern times, without high fantasy, and outside of Japan and Asia (minus the Philippines and Indonesia) and excludes Western European Countries and so far I've got this, Black Lagoon, Jormungand, Baccano, and Hetalia.

I got to do more searching.

I think Cowboy Bebop counts since it isn't in Japan and it isn't a "fantasy" story. Argevollen might count. Then there's Croisée in a Foreign Labyrinth, Canaan (except there are super powers people get from a drug..), Suisei no Gargantia (mechs and science jazz), Night Raid 1931 (again, some people have super powers), Gangsta. (it's like Black Lagoon in some ways), Emma: a Victorian Romance (something my little brother swears is amazing), aaaand that's it I guess.

Two dogs fought over a gun.

Whoa.

As promised, here is chapter 16, see you August 19th for ch17

Wow!  I can't believe how smoothly that dialogue flowed!!!  It really added depth to the story line!!!  I feel that I can finally really know those characters and their motivation!!!

Spoiler

Sure, you can^^ But well no more text in the series for now I think. It should end in a few month too so I'm really waiting to see if Wilderness actually goes off the hiatus its in since 2009.

No, you'll see, wait for ch15 and you'll see talking.

*Pervy goes into his corner to childishly sulk and mutter to himself.*

Enjoy the newest chapter^^

Well applying real physics, with the weight of the gun and the distance by which the gun fell, add gravity to all that and I think the gun should have blown his head off... but well, this is manga.

Obviously the burglar's headware was made of multi-layered, reeinforced steel-framed and very veeery well cushioned kevlar :D

Its the ultimate cursed gun amigos.....

it kind of feels weird to read this manga. weirdly enough it works without any kind of real dialogue.

Well applying real physics, with the weight of the gun and the distance by which the gun fell, add gravity to all that and I think the gun should have blown his head off... but well, this is manga.

In other words, you need to practice your skills in "Suspending your disbelief" so that you can enjoy this series.  This is true for nearly any form of fiction.  You must ignore nearly every law of physics, common sense, or real life reactions to even everyday occurrences.

You must instead learn and follow the rules that pertain to most fictional stories, such as, when a woman is being chased by a killer, she will ALWAYS trip over her own shadow, a grain of sand, or the chalk outline drawn on the floor and fall flat on her face.  Otherwise, you will NEVER be able to fully appreciate the sometimes completely illogical story lines in most manga series.

And another chapter, enjoy!!

That burglar should be dead now, getting hit by a gun that fell that far.

Well applying real physics, with the weight of the gun and the distance by which the gun fell, add gravity to all that and I think the gun should have blown his head off... but well, this is manga.
