Momoko, who dreams of becoming an illustrator, finds employment in an ultra fast-paced office that specializes in designing pachinko parlors!! With the office running a yazuka-like business and employing a designer, who has a habit of suddenly stripping in the middle of the night, Momoko believes that the company employees are a bit... no, definitely eccentric!! She continues pulling all-nighters, unable even to return home... And in the midst of cigarette-filled fumes, where women's authority takes a step back, she asks herself, "Why am I here?" |

I love this story, I would read lots more from this author. I hope they do have more to read, everything about this was really sweet and enjoyable ^^
I really enjoyed the storyline because it wasn't ridiculous or cliched and the illustrations were AMAZING!!
I want more. Still a great read btw. Thanks~
Man that was a pretty poetic analogy
LOL @ the last panel
Okay, this thing has some cute in it.
Highly approve.
Spoiler tag!
I was just perusing the comments to see if I wanted to read this comic.
Looks like I do, but don't spoil the highlight! lol
Whaddaya mean?
I really liked the ending. The manga's always been a slow boil character growth type story, and having the ending put Momoko's change in perspective was really satisfying. Momoko's sneer on the last page- highlight of the entire comic.
Journey was better than the destination, I suppose. I don't dislike the ending, but it just feels kinda like - you know how cereal starts out good but turns soggy by the time you reach the bottom of the bowl? Yeah, feels like that. Still fills the stomach, but not in the way you expected when you started it.
tagaya end it is, i guess. everything was resolved with the power of love. herp.
Ha! Yeah, I instantly thought of poor Gokicha-chan when the girl yelled "roach!"
best crossover ever...
Yeah, I know what you mean. I don't see any other clear love choice and that makes me nervous since so many manga hinge upon that for resolution.
we're nearing the end and i... get the feeling that she's gonna end up with tagaya and that makes me apprehensive. i hope it's just a nonsense feeling.
It's so near the end but it's still not there! Evoking that contradictory feeling of wanting to read it all and read more afterwards!
Sometimes you just need manga about anything that's not fantasy/school life. It's very rich: the setting, the characters, the general feeling, all feel very real. Reminds me a bit of Hataraki man, showing the real meaning of "working hard".
Every time someone makes the joke of sleeping on a floormat, I feel a chill on my spine. This manga makes me feel fortunate that on my life such a thing was ever only a joke.
I didn't expect any updates anymore. Thank you so much!
thats not the boss
oh how I adore the bearded baron . the beard, the hat, the ease. the mangaka did a great job drawing him
my 2cents on Purple Library Guy's bet
I really relate to the boss. Taking off your pants to de-stress hell yeah.
so nice to see a romantic interest that isn't the typical tall, slender, long-haired bishounen... tagaya is definitely my type <3
Well i hope so
