I tried going to the scanlators website:

and had a ad/malware attack that locked up my Chromium browser. Very Annoying!
Typical scare tactic that I was "infected" and needed to contact a technician for virus removal. I had to restart Linux Mint and then Chromium (I did NOT restore the suspect URL site.) and have not had a recurrence as long as I don't go to their site.
