History :

They say if you hang around the SuperMarket long enough, you'll find a colony of ants lined up in accordance, carrying food back to their nest. Oh, but it's best you not get yourself too involved, simply keep your eyes on them, and nothing more. Or better yet, follow these ants, acknowledging their struggle and even granting them praise! Eventually, you shall come into contact with him..

An enigma within himself, Deli had found his way to Sanctuary, an appropriate name for his residence you can say, as he is certainly one who is in need of salvation. He could not recall when he got here, or the day he started breathing. He could not recall anything at all. You see, he is an amnesiac, and one who copes with this sort of thing terribly. As if he was born on some alien planet, Deli learned to adjust to human life in quite an odd way, naming himself after a local grocery store, and finding interest in ants. He even goes around talking to his calculator, which he believes is a conversational device that links him to a higher power! A poor shell of a man, you can find him by the SuperMarket, huddled up within a corner, or exposed and in the open, sometimes sitting right next to the door. It seems that no one really knows his purpose, or why he wears that odd and torn paper mache' on his head. Doesn't it get hot in there? What is he hiding?

However above all of his failed take on his new life, Deli does remember one thing, or at least a fragmented part of it.

"I...I tend to have one thought running through my mind, and at times I can't get it out of my head. Believe me, I've tried it, but...I think realizing what this thought means is my only chance of recollecting my memories. It is a thought, where I am constantly reminded to push a button. I have no idea what the button does, or what that even means, but I would like to see this thought through to the end...."

Secret Sin: Mission

Personality: Scatterbrained, Deli is also unorthodox, and erratic, but mostly in speech. When not stuck within his own pensive thinking, he often blurts out things inconsistently, or utters a word with poor pronunciation. Sometimes in between his moments of sanity. And if we are speaking on his moments of sanity, then it is safe to say that he carries himself within the manner of a normal human being, though one who knows nothing of what it means to be human, and acts on his own accord. This is due to his estranged, and secret identity, and his inability to blend in perfectly with society. It is actually due to his inability to deal with society, that he has lost himself to confusion and paranoia, leaving him in this anxious, and amnesiac state. And, there are times, when Deli tends to forget his existence all together. Feeling transparent and fleeting, he often counts his fingers, or provokes himself to vomit, or other drastic acts just to prove that he is indeed alive. Because of this, he wears many scars along his body, as he struggles with this trial of his own identity daily. Of course, there is more to his personality than just fits of unexpectancy, but that is something to elaborate on, as time passes. 

Try not to touch his things also, as he is very possessive, and carries a pocket knife conveniently for the circumstance.

Relationships:

Maddie: A questionable relationship, Deli knows not of who this woman is, or why the mounds on her chest are so big. All he knows is that she has two buttons centered on each mound respectively, and he must press them.

Samuel Todd: There was no way Deli could just live around the SuperMarket without running into this man at least once or twice. They tend to have a good relationship, as Samuel allows him to stay near the Market, and he even throws "food" at him! Though, perhaps he is just aiming for the trash can located next to him. It sure does distract Deli when Mr.Todd is doing those odd things though, especially on Thursdays.
