#1432704 How was your day/week?

Posted by αɖα- ɕɧαɲ on 22 December 2014 - 07:58 PM

Started my day pretty normal but before it ended I got the chance to chat a bit with a certain good friend of mine and talk about random stuff.. Until the discussion led to The Last Naruto the movie and... Uchiha Sasuke. Never knew she's that fangirl of him. I admit I have my fair share of fangirling over him, but her fondness is way over the top! Her reaction when I told her about Sasuke and Sakura was epic.

She's way too hilarious, I can't help myself but laugh out loud and tease her more. Hopefully she'll still get a good sleep after those heartbreaking news.

#1431573 Games that you are currently playing (read the first post, smh)

Posted by αɖα- ɕɧαɲ on 21 December 2014 - 04:42 PM

Currently playing Fantasy Life - Life: Mercenary, Blacksmith, & Miner (all expert). Will try getting cook licence too, most probably.

Not much giving time on it the past few days due to being anxious that my character level will reach 50 in no time before I got to buy the other island version (or something like that). But my worries fade today as soon as I learned my brother already bought it for me. Now I'm back on track.

#1352663 What Anime Are You Currently Watching?

Posted by αɖα- ɕɧαɲ on 30 August 2014 - 09:49 AM

This week, I find myself watching two old animes that, more or less, molded my childhood. (Just want to make it sound cool)

  • Hunter x Hunter (2011) - I remember the last time I've viewed the anime was when I'm still in grade school/high school, afterwards I already depend on reading manga to get updated on the latest happenings. Having the chance to watch the remake, I honestly set a high expectation on it and the result was good. However the few amendments they made disappointed me such as cutting some scenes, fight or plain event or simple scenes in which they had in the 1999 HxH. Actually, most arcs have a fair share of cut scenes and if I am to name one, take Zoldyck arc as an example. Also, some changes in character appearance, for instance Machi of Genei ryodan and Neon of Nostrade family, bothers me a bit. From the first HxH, Machi's hair color was Blue but in the remake they made it pink. I find the former more appealing. It was the other way around for Neon since she should have the pink color and not the blue. But I say, on the other hand, that it's a job well done that they keep following , more or less, the manga. Well despite those, this series overall still rocks though I may sound bias since this is one of my favorites. Currently I am waiting for the next episode (142) and next manga update for this series.
  • Naruto (Season 1) - I did not actually picked this to watch and just happened that when I was browsing channels, I spotted it in Animax and although my brain was having debate that time if I should go on and watch the anime despite the fact that I already watched that before, I still find myself sitting for an hour or two watching attentively. The episodes that I watched ranges from Hidden Water Village arc (Yugakure) up to Chunin exam (Halfway of it). Season 1 was not that good when it comes to fighting scenes but it deals more with the developments of characters; meaning there are lots of talking, flashbacks and explanation, which pissed me off. Earlier, the episode was when Sakura find courage to cut her hair, gaining more confidence boost with Rocklee and the enemy Sound village ninjas as triggers. I can't help myself but to go tsukkomi mode for the whole episode, especially when Sasuke awakens with dark auras revolving around him. I was like, "oh come on! Stop with the overpower stint!" But yeah, that's how it is and I know I'm just wasting energy. My impression after watching a few episodes? Not bad but not good as well. Though Naruto series can't be that great without having these episodes as a start. Thumbs up.

Nanatsu no Taiza ch78.5

Yeah, absolutely, Megumi-anego looked the best there she has the whole story

Indeed! I guess I had enough of good-old-clumsy characters too that that badass Megumi sure is refreshing. But it won't last long, sadly.

Pandora Hearts - Xerxes Break's death.

This is just recent and a day of mourning is not enough, really. A year of sadness for me.. so much feels.

#1211390 How was your day/week?

Posted by αɖα- ɕɧαɲ on 18 April 2014 - 08:48 PM

My day started awful.

Forced to wake up around 2pm to attend the 3pm mass with Mom, lil'sis, Grandma and lil' cousin (Mass commemorating the seven last words of Jesus - Catholic stuff a'right.). Ran out of time so I just got a bowl of Ginataang Halo-halo to fill my empty stomach. That food was nice actually, however it didn't help making my stomach all good while in the church. Five minutes after being inside the church I got dizzy and felt like gagging that worried my mom (either because I might make a commotion or that I looked so pale and ill she thought the Lord was dragging me from Earth to Heaven). I don't know what's up with me but it got worse that I ended up outside the church until the mass ended. Okay, deep inside it made me a little bit happy since I was not in the mood hearing the mass, but on the other hand it was irritating that I was all alone for about an hour sitting blankly and from time to time having crazy thought like "Maybe I am that SO evil of a child that the holiness of the Church brings me stomachache and headaches" - something like that.
By the time the mass ended I felt almost as good as new. I regroup with my family and together participated in the Procession. Walking with large group of religious peeps are not thrilling but I actually found myself enjoying at that time. It's been a while since I last walk that far however, I did not expect the procession to went so far I feel like I've walked a hundred miles already. We started with the sun still up and finish it off evening already. Quite the exercise we had there, I wonder if my legs gained tremendous muscle out of it.

It felt so great being at home after all the tiring stuff happened in the day. My lil' sis decided to watch Frozen (for the nth time) with lil' cousin as soon as they step in the Sala. Despite me thinking how many times we've watched it over the past months I still joined them and got carried away, singing with them as soon as there is something to sing-a-long with. It's quite addicting honestly and I could say it compensate the ugly start of my day and also wrapped everything that happened in my day as still good. :D

Preparing for my sis graduation. Went to shopping and avail some nail and hair services in salon. All was fine except the fact that my mom got mad on how slow and unprofessional some workers in the salon are.. I pity them actually, mom being mad is like hell on Earth. Afterwards had pizza and ice cream as dinner. To wrap up, today was a nice day for me~

#1174124 last movie you watched

Posted by αɖα- ɕɧαɲ on 24 March 2014 - 08:35 PM

The Girl with the dragon Tattoo.
A mystery thriller movie, it was okay.. kind of long actually and too much rape and killing. Guess I shouldn't watched it with my mom and lil'sis, I was told to cover my eyes every time there was a 'not suited for underage' scenes going on. (I bet my mom forgot my age)
Anyhow, overall the movie is okay 7/10
