The jeering atmosphere that was there a moment ago was completely gone. Twenty assailants jumped out of nowhere and slaughter everyone on sight.
Kahn quickly grabs his knife that hung at his waist.
 
In just a few seconds corpses piled up inside the bar, all the people in it were dead, only leaving a handful of people left. Kahn, The Old Man and the Lass, The Inn Owner - Lucian Graves, the Longsword man- Devon and the Bard that claimed he was from the royal court, but judging from how he moves, he's no ordinary bard from no court.
 
Just as Kahn get his bearings together, the Bard already plunged his blade into the assassin's neck without hesitation, still nineteen assailant left.
 
The numbers are still harmful. Even though Kahn has confidence in his combat ability, but being surrounded is a whole different story.
 
Kahn binds his knife handle with a rope and throw it to one of the assailants while holding the other end of the rope. Seeing a knife being thrown at him the assailant raise his sword trying to deflect the knife. Just as it was about to connect, Kahn pulled the knife back, catch it and tore the assailant under arm artery swiftly, making a massive bleed out.
 
Seeing the assailant, who staggered due to a sudden blood loss, Kahn picks up one of the broken round tables and throw it at him. The man flew to the other side of the bar with his feet twitching. Always finish off your enemy. ( ✧ω✧)=3
 
The spurt of blood soiled Kahn's clothes and struck his cheek as well. He ended up feeling down due to its unpleasantness. Putting a frown on his mouth, he licks of the blood off his cheek. He stood back up and look at the remaining assailants, eighteen left.

Seeing an old man thrown halfway across the room was truly a horrendous sight for the faint heart. And after that the old man acrobatically stops in mid air and landed on top of a wine glass without shattering it. Even though a bit surprised, Kahn took interest as to how the old man manages to do that.

The lass told him not to listen to what the old man said, but what was the old man saying again?

"Nonsense! I still have plenty to teach the young. And the desirable," said the old man who was already at their table again. Kahn's eye grew wide for a second as he glances at the place where the old man landed and at his table. Such distance at a mere seconds, is clearly no such feat for ordinary old folk.

"Yes, many have underestimated me over the years. But then they either end up dead, or in my bed," said the old man twinkling his eye

Leafy Green Inn

 
Graves story was cut short due to a bard that claimed he was from the royal court came in and interfere. The crowds were lead to a standing ovation by the owner of the Leafy Green Inn hoping the young bard would deliver a tune to rouse. In the midst of the commotion the door was opened and a horned lass with a long tail came in while clapping her hands along and sit in his table. she admit that she had no idea what's going on.
 
While the bard playing his tune with kamaitachi dancing around him, the Dryad came and put a mug on the table "Will there be anything else, beloved?" as she asked the lass.
"Ah, merci beaucoup - thank you! But that will have to suffice for now I'm afraid. It's already quite late, and I do need my beauty sleep," she replied. Kahn quietly sipped his ale while listening to their conversation when suddenly a voice come from behind.
 
Come now, my dear. Rest is for the wicked. Now saints like us? We can go all night long!" the voice belong to a man old enough to have a beard reaches his waist and wearing a monk's attire
 
"Oh non," she replied. While hiding his laughter to her reaction, the owner's wife excuse herself. Judging by her reaction it seems the man was an acquaintance, an annoying one at that.
 
"Oh yes," the old man said as he take a seat across the Lass.
 
"It seems our paths cross again..."
 
"Stop following me."
 
"Ohohoho! She's so funny," he said to Kahn who didn't anticipate that and almost spurt his ale.
 
"I don't even know you."
 
"And now you never will! You see, in the morning I go to die for my country. But do not mourn for me, My sacrifice will become the foundation for future generations."
 
"Ahahah... Are you insane?!"

and the banter continues on and on, some foreign insults were mixed in but Kahn's mind still lingering on the old man's words. 

"What do you mean by going to die tomorrow?" he ask the man after the banter stopped.

The night still young yet he still lacked information regarding anything. Might as well spend it all, hearing the tales of a suicidal man.

Someone give DR a bed to sleep in! ='(

I'm out of extra beds but I have some empty coffins if that's okay with DR (They surprisingly comfy to sleep in)

Whoops, sorry for the confusion. I thought everyone could give their characters any level, kinda like where they are at in their profession/life at the moment. Since Devon's had some field experience and training in a decent military academy, I gave him a five. Thought it was a pretty low level; I was actually expecting someone to make a level 20 character or something!

 

Anyways, I'll edit the character sheet.

 

I just have one question.

 

How the hell do you think Devon won't recognize his older sis in drag? XD

Bio :

First son of the wealthy Blanc family, owners of massive vineyards and makers of the best wines in the Urvandel kingdom. As a child, he wandered too far into the meadows and accidentally trespassed upon a terrible witch's lair. This earned him the ire of the witch, and he was cursed as a result. Whilst not lethal, the curse gave him an inhuman look, which got worse by each passing day. Afraid that the citizens would mistake him as a monster and attack him, his family kept Wilhem hidden in the basement of the mansion. Will's inherently curious nature, however, had caused him to be unable to feel satisfied living in confinement. As a result, he often sneaked past the guards at nights to explore.

 

Of course, these excursions were not always without witness. Rumours about a gremlin wandering around the town looking for children to eat began spreading across the kingdom. In his desperate attempt to keep his son safe (and to save his face along with it), Wilhem's father was left with no choice but to fake his death and send him away. Officially, he died of a terrible, incurable fever at the age of 8. In reality, however, he was excommunicated and sent to a magic school in a neighbouring country, where he could study more about magic and eventually find a way to regain his human look.

 

Now, 25 years after his faked death, despite managing to grasp an understanding of myriads branches of magic, Wilhem is still stuck with his curse. Desperate to find a way for him to be accepted back into the Blancs, Wilhem signed up to be a part of the Ishido Tower Campaign. A hero would be welcomed to his homeland, no matter his appearance, he reckon. Little does he know that this would lead him to his long lost brother, and a whole new chapter in his life..

First daughter of the wealthy Blanc family, owners of massive vineyards and makers of the best wines in the Urvandel kingdom. Being the next heir of the family, she enjoyed excellent education and upbringing from the get-go. She was provided with the best teachers money can buy, and the best equipment to come along with them. Literally anything she had an interest in, her parents would make it happen for her.

 

Etiquette and mannerism aside, Julia is well-versed in economics; equestrian; and to a certain degree, sword fighting (which she learned from her younger brother) and as of recently, bits of light magic. Needless to say, such an excessive gift of fortune and talent, well, turned her into a massively haughty brat, to say the least. While she managed to maintain the act as a perfect princess in front of guests, you could see traces of malaise and mockery in both her speech and gesture. Naturally, not many people liked her.

 

In fact, it is safe to say that the only person who could interact properly with her, without her maintaining her facade, is Devon, her younger brother. As such, she gradually developed some sort of a brother complex. Oh who am I kidding, it's not on the level of "some sort of" anymore. It's a full-blown brother complex alright. For example, she went as far as putting an illusion spell on one of her maid, set her up as a replacement, disguised herself as a man, faked an ID, etc; just to secretly follow Devon to Ishido Tower.

 

Which is the start of this mess of a story..

It has been Seven years since Kahn left his village and traveled the world. Usually, the people at his tribe return from this rite of passage after 3-5 years, but after the long journey Kahn was enjoying his adventure more than his desire to go back home. His father have passed away and his siblings could do just fine without him, so for awhile he still want to go on and learn the outside worlds just a little bit more.

He arrived at the land of Ishido at the twilight and even then he could see the battle scar that have ravaged the land quite clearly. He asked one of the locals there, looking for a place to spend the night, and that local show him the way to the 'Leafy Green Inn'. Along his way there, he heard whispers and murmurs about the person who owned the place, about how he gathered heroes from across the world to win a war against monsters that have take residents at the Temple. The place that was now known as Tower of Ishido.

He entered through the front door and the wooden floor creak beneath him. It wasn't because the Inn was old or the wooden floorboard have started to rot. It was all due to his overweight that the floor screaming in pain. Kahn walk towards the nearest table all while followed by the creaking floor. He glance at the floor occasionally while he walks there. He sat down and pay mind to his surrounding, looking for a man that fit the description of one Lucian Graves for he want to tag along the adventure to come. And there he was talking with a man carrying a long sword, a man that introduced himself as Devon. He also saw a beaut standing next to them. He already knew who she was, based on the whispers of locals. She has to be the wife of the owner, a dryad, a nymph race that he used to find in the woods. He thought those whispers were just an impressions of her beauty because he never believe he would find a dryad live this far outside of the woods. 'Yet another new experience' he thought.

From quite a distance Kahn could hear the man ask the Inn-owner a few questions, about how he could survive the tower. He didn't mean to eavesdrop but, gathering information is essential for survival and that he also wishes to hear about the tale of the man, Kahn decided to stay and listen.

PS. I'm just waiting on Strong to post, then I'll do an update. Until Faye and Missy post a cs, I can't count them as part of the rp.
