Granted, but due to your head getting filled with too many wishes/getting satisfied too easily, it would be inevitable (1/infinity chance, but since you will have infinite wishes (clearly, immortality will be wished for near death, hence the wishes continue) as well, the probability is 1, i.e. inevitable) for one of your wishes to be to not have any more wishes. Then you would be back to square one. Because of ad-hoc assumptions, this is scientifically inaccurate. But I think it is satisfactory enough.
(Or, if that was an incorrect interpretation, your friend was so cool that he kept freezing you to death, but since he was a wizard, he could revive you properly. It was a middling and unsatisfying friendship, which lasted a lifetime. I corrupted this one to the best(?) of my abilities.)
I wish for construction work to be rendered soundless.
