Mahou Sensei Negima (Magistar! Negi Magi)...after having written such a nice manga with such epic action and tolerable overdose of cuteness...all of sudden the mangaka divides by zero(Akametsu Ken of Love HIna fame)...the final 10 or so (prob'ly 20) chapters are just fanservice...and with zero plot-progress...all that build-up for the final revelation of his special someone and you just get one peck on his cheek, a stuttering Asuna rambling 'bout equal chances, a final scene where in the final panel Negi asks Asuna out on a date(if you could call it taht >.>) over a phone and she replies affirmative...nothing more >.<

We all had waited eagerly for his momentous venture into monster realm ...but it never came...the way the final arc went, it's a surprise not every single gal was lip-kissed and had a pactio card dangling by her bewbs >.> Even the so called rare pactio card lost all its value in face of this mindf*ck abundance...wtf *_*

Even the fated reunion of father and son was so meh...the way the manga had begun and shaped up into something grand, its end just made it seem as if the author suddenly had a sparkly vampire fetish a la Twilight >.> WTF...one of the worst cases of dividing by zero ever 

Cliches in mangas...not all but the ones such as the heroine always getting kidnapped and hero saving her in the end...constant power-ups and power-ups followed by more defeats and more power-ups...factory-made heroes and all that emo stuff >.<

And yeah a painter I am...but speaking of painting I should first say that for a period of about 11 years painting and drawing was my life...a medium to breathe through...to feel the life in me...to express my glee, my grief, my smile, my tears...my frustrations, my rage...my hope, my scars...art was oxygen, my pulse, my life...and a life without art I couldn't possibly imagine...and then all of a sudden my art school had to change its teacher for the second time...and the new one had a serious ego-clash with me (I was a young adolescent...and so much irreverent and unforgiving...that anyone who crossed my temper had to be crossed out XD)...and so on the day of my exam (6th yr final) I suddenly decided to stop after 11 years of living with art ...and very soon my other love 'music' took over and easily filled the void...although I continued to draw on my notebooks during classes or stdies...and the flourish never left me...it was only when on the site somemanga.com, one of my friends convinced me to not drop it, did I resume drawing in a while...but since the site closed, I have again returned to my drawing-only-on-copies-when-not-focusing type 

Anyway...speaking of media...I have used a variety of it(I mean I was in love with it...so the complexity never dazzled me^^)...I have used simple pastels, oil pastels, poster colour, water colour, dry pastel (which as you must know further needs a glue spray and an ink finishing...where not just outlines...even shades are made using usually a good gel-pen), graphite, ink, oil, wood shavings n glitter(for collage), shredded magazines (for collage), sand, simple water for a temporary art^^, spray painting, and so much more...I stopped at an important juncture...since next I was supposed to learn linocut, pottery (with actual palli mati as used in teracotta), emulsion, and much much more...I had spoken to an ex-teacher of mine (my 2nd teacher...she was good^^) and might join her institute to resume my course...although university is currently ensuring I don't get enough time for such adventures while also continuing my other passions like music XD

Oya...I love monochrome...I love pen-sketches...and I do love still-life and outdoor sketches...also enjoy drawing landscapes...also a further reason as to why I never resumed my love affair with art is because towards the end of my career...my art had suddenly started becoming very dark in nature you know with hoods and manga influences (did I mention I was a mere adolescent back then besides being a new member of the world of mangas^^)... considering it a bad influence on my psyche (aye, am far too interested in psychology...my other love^^), I never fully resumed it...I mean art is a means of expressing your innermost feelings...but the flow is bi-directional...As you feel, so you draw, but also as you draw, so you feel, so you think, and chances are high that so you become...And it was when I understood that, that I suddenly decided...unless my art returns to its optimist self and becomes as much positive as possible...I ain't gonna resume it...And glad to say, it has become positive at large...although occasional bursts of rage do creep in, but they are still very limited and too far between...and I sincerely hope that soon I shall resume my affair with my old flame ^^
