Did you ever test DNSCrypt?
Oh my God, I never tinker with DNS seriously before. Thank you very much for this.
Credit is a given, but the reason they like/ed batoto was because their release delays were respected and the releases weren't altered for the sites convenience. Not sure how mangadex is setup, but it looks like everyone and their mother can upload anything as they please. No group is going to endorse that practice as it's only catering to readers, which is nothing like batoto.
Mangadex have discord server, if you want to give some inputs, you might want to join it.

One thing I am noting is that the rules say only Manga, Manhwa, and Manhua can be posted.
I can get not wanting to host the few OEL self-pub things Batoto has, but what about the Vietnamese, Malaysian, Thai scanlations on Batoto?
(At the moment I'm thinking of https://vatoto.com/comic/_/comics/badluck-r21214in particular, though there have been a handful of other ones over the years)
We confirmed on reddit that other stuff will be okay to post. Just haven't got around to updating rules and support needs to be added. The only think we want to avoid is western content.
There's several other rule changes that are going to be updated following discussion with groups in our irc channel #mangadex on rizon. Feel free to stop by if you have anything you want to discuss.
There's a lot of features people have requested and bugs that need fixing which will start to be rolled out soon.

If they could add forum and activity list of popular series to mangadex it would be great.
Both are included on the to do list, just bear with us while we get stuff sorted. A lot of the reported bugs were fixed today so new features will be coming soon.
thank's a lot hope many people see this and start there. A site where Translators are named is so rare.
Crediting people for their work is only fair! Sure as hell beats compressing their releases, throwing on a watermark and removing all mention of them... Sup aggregator sites.

Its closer to under 6 tb. And that is just the images in the image server. We are still waiting for a cleaned db from grumpy, probably after the site is down since chapters are still being uploaded.
We aren't fully done downloading our backup yet.
It won't be a full backup of the site, but hopefully we will have all the important stuff minus the user data.
That is all I can say for now.
We will be in the Batoto discord.

Out of curiosity, is it known how well AniDex's infrastructure will handle this many image files?
I'm not sure about that yet, since AniDex only handles torrent files, which are tiny in comparison.
We'll see how the site copes over the next few days!
Thanks. It's a nice dark theme too.
I usually prefer a light theme with just a black background for reading because many dark themes are not done well.
Very good.
One other thing. Will someone who mirrored batoto be uploading?
I'm not sure. So far, many groups have contacted me about importing their libraries.

Our site is ready: https://mangadex.com/
I was able to code this very quickly as there is a lot of overlap with AniDex.
All the essential functions are now complete. Improvements to the site will be coming in the days ahead, as I get more user feedback.
Here's hoping the site manage to attract other scanlators to upload to it.

Except we don't classify manga based on certain arcs. We base off the entire manga itself. With that logic I can name 50 other manga that have arcs where you're transported to another world, like T7, which is *clearly* not an isekai.
Isekai has less of "specific attributes," and more of "specific scenarios."
- Transported to another world via magic from a being from said another world
- Transported to another world via death
- Quantum Mechanics' Time Dilation; The Butterfly Effect-level of time travel; transported to a previous version of self
- Transported to another world via rifts in the space-time continuum; Falling asleep/fainting, then waking up in another world
- Transported to same world in another person's body
If y'all can think of other situations then comment
-Killed by Truck-kun seal of approval.Sometimes he may drives cars, trains, planes, boats and I vaguely remember some heavy machinery.
"If it have a steering wheel,Truck-kun can kill you"

try Promised neverland(yokusoku no neverland) - ( i guess its similar to " made in abyss" with its young cast), good pacing, great characters and mysterious story. A lot of plot twists and of course emotional moments.
