Hi guys. Still around, just incredibly busy. Things will be going smoother in a week at most.

Extremely happy about how everyone has posted. I've started typing up the updates, but its rather slow. In the next few days, I'm going to be taking my licensure examination for my post graduate degree, so I'll be a bit busy. I will definitely update, don't get me wrong; I'm just worried that it would take some time. Basically, this is just me asking for your patience; won't be abandoning this a second time.

I'm gonna make an Info Cache for you guys, but hold off from posting just yet. Need to figure out how to pretty that thing up.

Edit: Anyways, I posted as well. Didn't mean to make i seem like I was copying you joker, had the same idea myself (using the roof to get a better view/look for exit) when the update came, also thought it'd be amusing (despite the situation not really being funny in the least) to have one of those cliche anime/manga scenes where you have 2 people sneaking around like that, thinking they're alone, go to look only to come face to face with each other. Delayed reactions and allll Lol

Not really an issue. The fine line between what's OP in this world is extremely blurry. Not need to worry.

Didn't expect those replies. You guys must be some high-tier lurkers. Since instinct has predominated, I know what scenario to go with. I'll have the IC up in a few hours? That sounds about right.

Gender: Male.
Background: In my previous life, I was a dreamer. I daydreamed my way through school. I always wanted to be an artist. So I'd just doodle and draw, sketching the day away. I didn't care for much else. I just wanted to draw and paint and make the world a better, more magical, place through art. Because that's what it was always about for me, you know... life. It was about finding the magic. And I'm not talking magicians and psychics. Those were fun, but it was all a trick. I knew it, they knew it, everyone knew it. I wanted real magic. So I found it in art. Art and imagination. And dreams. I would draw the creations of my dreams and thoughts. I would draw things from the real world too. Often I would combine them. Place something alien in a perfectly normal landscape. Anyway, that's not the point. The point is this:

 

Dying was the best decision of my life.

 

Not that I chose. Not really. I fell from a window while trying to draw a bird in a nearby tree. The fall itself didn't kill me. It was only a ground floor window. But it made me feel silly. And it scared the bird away. So I decided to leave, because people were giggling. As I left I tripped over a curb and banged my head. Again, this didn't kill me. But it did leave me somewhat dazed. And that's why I got hit by the bus. When I was released from hospital I somehow managed to choke to death on a mouth full of raspberry's, cherries, and various other delicious fruits, while try to make a smoothie in my own mouth. It was a tasty, tasty death. And so here I am. In an awesome new world. With real magic! I'm going to go and see as much of the coolest stuff as I can. I'm going to find the magic.

Race/Class: Mostly Harmless. Mostly Human. Mostly Shaman.

Abilities and Traits: The ability to see and interact with the hidden spirits of the world. Being able to befriend a tree and channel their powers or whatever. Maybe a bit of Shaman king style techniques too? Like finding the spirits of dead warriors and letting them posses my body to use their powers and skill and things. Could be fun. Who knows. We'll have to wait and see. :3

I'm sure he'll stay, but the thing with him is that his job keeps him busy with a lot of hours (slaving for the machinnee). So while he'll still be in,he wont be able to post often as you might probably like, unless you'll be fine with that and not expecting a fast paced rp. Though, fast paced rps never tend to do well on this forum.

Won't be fast paced, but I plan to be consistent. Anyway, with 3 people, I don't mind starting it.

As for the abilities, I'll be slowly introducing them in the RP itself once its starts.

The whole thing looked like it was taken from the video games you used to play, except for the question about restarting in another world. What's with that? Shouldn’t it say “restart at the last checkpoint”? Hm, I guess not. Right below the question, there were two options: [YES] and [NO].

Naturally, you're going to choose yes. Why? Because this story needs you to! How do you expect me to lead this story if you decide you're fine with being dead? Stay on the rails! I mean, on figurative rails, not real ones, because then you’ll probably just die again. Unless you're some sort of superhero. Which you may very well become in this new world we’re going.

Just as you press [YES], a new message replaces the previous ones.

PLEASE CREATE YOUR CHARACTER.

Now, what the hell does that mean?! Aren’t you already created? Your mom and dad worked hard at it too! Does this reincarnation system want to pick a fight with you!?! You are perfect the way you are, they said so at school! A special little snowflake!

An explosion of colors suddenly appear around you. What was previously a pitch black void of death was now dyed in a cloudy combination of white and blue. The message telling you to create your character was gone and in it is place, some kind of form appeared before you. It took you only a quick glance to realize what it was.

Once again, light explodes and you get engulfed by a rainbow-colored whirlpool of energy. A sudden feeling of being launched downwards possesses you and the instinctive fear of falling forces you to scream. As you look bellow you the myriad of colors clear and an unfamiliar landscape began rapidly approaching you. Your eyes water from the speed, making you unable to properly inspect the features of the world around you. Not that you’d have enough composure to do it anyway, as your destination became clear: a gray, rocky mountainside. You show no signs of stopping as you draw closer and closer until finally you hit the mountain’s surface at full force, exploding from sheer force of the impact into a spectacle of gore...
