soo, image-fails-loading one explained above, the other one I think would probably be problematic to implement but that's for grumpy to decide. Searching for other instances of already existing pages wouldn't add anything new because all chapters of the comic in question end up on a single comic page and we don't have any "member galleries" or "full volume of mixed mangu" stuff for which I suspect that feature was made for.

 

I actually haven't noticed they have another option for reverse image search of images from outside of the site, that I guess might make sense to find comic titles or particular chapters if you were to find an uncropped comic page somewhere on the internet, but you can already use google search for that (and probably with a much better result than whatever we could be able to implement - google has indexed all major aggregators, so your chances of finding that page are much bigger there).

well said indeed, in any case , search by google can help most of the time, but not every time, 

thats why i prefer image search at specific place to search it, i could reverse search cropped image and find similar cropped image that people posted in their twitter, or memecenter or 9gag and etc  instead the original,

while search in the specific site, like hentai crop image in hentai site could lead me to the info where it from, what manga it is and etc, and sometimes not

Can't say anything in regards to the image search button (though even if it was possible I think it could just be an additional strain on servers for what exactly? finding out that on the comic page there is that chapter available in X other languages?), but as for image-fails-loading button,

afaik it works there because they use that p2p method to spread the load among loads of p2p clients and sometimes connecting to one of p2p clients fails for whatever reason and it's there to connect to a different source. On batoto, the only case where it would be useful is when one of image servers has a problem and in that case you probably should switch to a different one (granted, having a "pick a server for me at random" button would save you a click or two). Otherwise you either can fix it with refreshing because it was a temporary internet/connection/browser hiccup or it's a bad upload (i.e. lack of the image file in the first place) that requires reuploading the chapter and no refreshing will fix it.

not sure what you're trying to say - if the upload is bad, not reporting it to get someone to fix it won't magically make it work later or be available for reading before it gets fixed. Unfortunately, not all uploaders bother checking if they made any mistakes during uploading and moderators only check uploads made by non-contributors - for stuff that's already approved and available for reading (i.e. stuff you would be concerned about), it's pretty much up to users to tell us what's not working for them.

thats why i asked first how do they operate, the buttons on e hentai and sadpanda, the original 404 never got fixed , but once u click that button, secondary image which load faster from unknown origin works too

I care less either way. I would support this. But the big reason I like reading from this site cos its neat, clean and organised and most of all, no shitty ads slap all over the site and these damn app ads that would infect shit when I read on my tablet.

And why people think batato would lose new people? If you google a manga, it would most likely to come up on the top page as batato link. Just the choice to either sign up, which takes 2 steps like moving your mouse from left to right, or just close your browser. Difficult yeah?

Oh, and one more thing about member only privatizing, it would be moooooooore great that you are allowed to read some of those 18+ mangas that were blocked numerous time before.
