Art style? Thats different, thats why I like manga, colorless characters can be seen as anything.
Also Japan is xenophobic, and its clearly shown in highschool bullying and other unfair treatments there, and I never said that Japan was the unique Xenophobic country, so stop putting Japan as the victim here, as the only one critized, I can go and critize any country if I want, but right now Im focusing on just a part of Japan.
Definitely not different. People sure enjoy adding an
element of racism to anything with color, just because
it has color. And again, it panders to the Japanese who
don't go insane if not every ethnic group is or isn't
represented in their favorite brand of entertainment.
Also I'd like to reiterate that I did say that it does happen,
but you make it sound like it's an
just stick with what I said before, with blanketing statements, when it
really just depends on where you live among other factors.
But the whole concept really is an interesting topic! So much to
think about, but for me I have trouble putting a lot of weight into anime
styles. If someone asked me if I thought Japan had a fascination with
the west, part of which is evident in their pop culture, I couldn't disagree,
but as far as deep psychology, I can't say I'm qualified with any of that!
It really is ironic, this seeming fascination, yet at times repulsion from
certain groups.
