Her skin color is much lighter, almost like limes. The color of her tattoos will depend on what school of magic she practices.

You have full control. So you can decide if they're tempted or not.

She's ranking up now. Her rank-up is a warlock (orc mage). Whether she falls asleep or not is up to you.

So she goes through a transformation, becomes taller and learns one new spell. I don't think I need to add anything more than that. She's your character now, so what she feels and how she looks will all be up to you to define and write. I'll add her stats in a follow up post but there's nothing more for me to add. We need a new profile picture as well.

Goblin Rend: In a Forest, Dark and Deep I
Despite being only mid-afternoon, the forest was dark and full of shadows. "Tread carefully, brave goblins," the golem replied over his shoulder. "Into the deep and dark we go. What we'll find? Not even I can know." But one thing he did know however, was that it was too quiet. The air was still and hung heavy in front of them like a corpse from a tree. The birds too were quiet and even the insects were either all gone, or all dead. In fact, as they searched high and low and deeper into the forest, the only signs of life they found was the red taint of corruption. The earth and trees were cracked as if twisted open by bare hands, and inside the wounds was the red glow of corruption. It oozed like pus from an infection, leaving only rot in it's wake. "It must be close," the golem whispered. As if in reply, the abomination laughed, sending its voice bouncing through the tainted trees.

"Eh heh heh heh! So. Predictable," the creature taunted. "I knew you would come, like a lamb to the slaughter. And I see you've brought some pathetic toothpicks to clean my teeth with, once I'm done with you. How... nice. Kneel before me, tiny creatures, for I am your new master -- and perhaps I'll spare you." While they could here its voice, they couldn't see the beast that was speaking to them.

Goblin Dar: Secret Lair of the Spider King I
Dar moved quietly through the decaying basement, her axe held tightly between her palms as slivers of light tracked her movement through the dark. At first it seemed that perhaps she had been wrong earlier, that there really was nothing down here. But as she rounded the final corner, she finally came face-to-face with her prey. At first it did nothing, its eyes simply watching her through the slivers of light that pierced the darkness, but then it attacked!

It's a boost in power. I didn't really stop to think about how that power will or should express itself. But I'm fine with it being a spell or something. ^^

Rend (Day 2): The Final Encounter
"Nothing, Candles and Fire. Well done," the voice replied. "Your wisdom and insight shall take you far. The hidden path to the second stone is now yours to follow. Walk in wisdom with my blessing." Rend suddenly felt a portion of the Riddle Stone's power enter her, strengthening her body and spirit and revealing the path to the second stone, the stone of power.

Spoiler

The Power Stone was actually a golem made of earth, roots and leaves, resting against the side of a small hill. As Rend and her minions drew closer, the golem stirred from it's light nap and greeted them. "So you're the mortal sent to aid me are you," it asked rhetorically as it suddenly began scratching itself, sending leaves flying everywhere. "And the other two, are they meant to be snacks for me? Well, yes or no, that will have to wait. We have much work to do."

Standing on all fours, the golem lead the goblins up the side of the small hill, to the top. From there they could see a valley and a group of trees just beyond. The forest was dark and dying, and smelled wrong and sick with illness. The golem then explained what Rend's second task would be.

"This grove was once a favorite place for our master to visit and rest. Just recently however, a jealous rival has curse it. Now too busy to deal with it herself, as Akta's disciples it is now our task to cleanse the grove of it's corruption. But first I will now give you the tools you need to complete this task. Listen well..."

"...before there were goblins or humans, before there were even worlds or the stars that light the night sky," the golem said, raising a trunk-like arm towards the sky. "There was but one thing in the universe -- Magic. Magic touches all things. It is what binds the universe together: past, present and future. It is the source of all good and all evil, of all matter and all knowledge. All forms of life, no matter how simple or complex, can trace their origins back to magic."

"Magic is the afterlife that exists between the worlds, which in turn is the building blocks of reality. It is also the birthplace of various gods and other powerful entities. What haunts these woods is one such creature, a savage abomination summoned from someplace distant and dark, born from madness and insanity. It is a killer from the far beyond," the golem whispered, intentionally frightening the tiny goblins. "It appears from nowhere to butcher it's victims, for what reason no one knows. But now, it is our prey and we will be victorious! CHARGE!!"

Dar (Day 3): Second Encounter
With her path now free of the fuzzy, little obstacles, Dar took a moment to collect her items, heal and then eat. Once she was ready, she pushed forward to complete her quest. Her destination was the giant spider infested area known simply as The Webwoods, a heavily forested woodland deep in the heart of the Goblin Forest. Just inside of the Webwoods was an abandoned, human farm covered in the webbing of the giant spiders that lived nearby. Curious, Dar went inside to see what she could learn of the humans that once lived there.

There were paintings and oversized furniture, and all sorts of other wonders -- all covered in giant spider webbing. Upstairs, Dar found a secret compartment hidden in the floor. Inside was a magical backpack with the ability to hold all of her items and reduce their weight and size, making it so she could carry even more items than she normally could have. Going back downstairs, Dar found the basement. The entrance was lined with fresh webbing and a sinister warmth, suggesting that a giant spider might still be living here...

Dar's Loot
- 12x Complete Horned Rabbit Pelts (= 36x Rawhide Leather Pieces)
- 9x Horned Rabbit Skulls + 10x Horned Rabbit Horns + 12x Horned Rabbit Spines + 20x Horned Rabbit Leg Bones (= 51x Medium Animal Bones (Bone)

Rend (Day 2): The Final Encounter
The sun was high and temperatures were soaring as sweat rolled down Rend's back. She had just lost Diaper in their last battle with the injured brownie but at least she had found some good items to fill her pockets with. The part of the forest where she was now also had some goblins in it, so she quickly recruited two new minions to help her with the second part of her quest.

Speaking of which, the beach where Rend was to complete her second quest was covered in sand and littered with the bones of massive, ocean-dwelling monster. As she explored further, Rend soon found Akta's special tree and went through the ritual of gaining access to the plant as Akta had described to her.

It was during this final part of the ritual when Rend heard a voice in her head. The voice was Akta's -- or at least some sort of copy of it. Akta's voice explained that it would test Rend's worthiness with three riddles. Rend agreed to the challenge and so it began:

1) Poor people have it. Rich people need it. If you eat it you die. What is it?

2) I’m tall when I’m young and I’m short when I’m old. What am I?

3) If I drink, I die. If i eat, I am fine. What am I?

Rend's Loot:
- 3x Piles of Glittering Dust
- 5x Tiny Totems

Dar (Day 3): First Encounter B
Remembering the lessons she had learned from her time with Brix the Handsome, Dar took a moment to gather some of the restorative plants she had seen Brix use to heal his wounds, and used them to heal her own. Once that was done tending to her wounds, Dar was once again ready to continue her quest.

Frisk (Day 3): The Wonderfully Evil Wizard of Gob
Frisk was awakened by a shock and a shake, one so sudden and severe that he knew most definitely that he was now awake. And yet the plants and trees that were all around him, were still the stuff of dreams -- so wherever he was, help had yet to find him. With nothing better to do, other than go back to bed, Frisk crawled from the soft soil where he had just laid his head. He wriggled and crawled until he was finally free, then stretched and yawned as he realized he was also very hungry. So stretching some more and fluttered his wings... wings?! As Frisk busied himself with his self-inspection, the chaos that had awoken him suddenly revealed itself with some loud objection.

"Who are you, and why are you here?" Said the loud and green little man. He was not quite a goblin and certainly not Frisk's fan. "This is my garden you fool, look what you've done! You tore down a tree and ruined my plums!!" Waving his stick, it cracked like thunder, shaking the ground and making Frisk's eyes wide with wonder. "Speak quickly you fool, or kill you I will. No one ruins my garden, without paying the bill!"

Rend (Day 2): Second Encounter
Rummaging quickly through the brownie's corpse, Rend was able to recover some useful items before she retreated from the sound of the oncoming brownie horde. Once they arrived and without hesitation, the rapid creatures entered a feeding frenzy and began devouring what remained of Broom and their fallen sibling, and then began taking a few bites out of each other.

Taking advantage of their 'distraction', Rend and Diaper pushed forward and found what they were looking for: embereyes. As Akta had told her, the seeds from the magical plant were as warm as smoldering stones but the plant itself smelled worse than Diaper did after a dip in the lake, so Rend kept their meeting short and collected the seeds she needed. As they were about to leave however, another Brownie came waddling in. It was bruised and bloody from the feeding frenzy, but still looked hungry. So it through it's head back to scream but it's already slashed throat didn't produce a peep.

Frisk (Day 2): Acid World
Spoiler

Dar (Day 3): First Encounter
The forest was alive with life and magic today: butterflies sparkled through the air on glittering wings, leaving behind glowing trails while multicolored plants sang and danced almost as if alive all around Dar. Spending a second night in Akta's temple had opened her eyes to the hidden magic flowing through the world, and once again she was seeing old things with new eyes. Ahead of her was a winding path filled with familiar beasts and old dangers. Beyond those she saw the massive trees where the giant spiders made their homes. But to get to there, she first had to deal with her familiar foes: the horned rabbits.

OOC: There's no way for Dar to get around the small horned rabbit colony, so instead she'll have to go through them. The colony is split into three groups of 3-, 5- and 4 horned rabbits. The layout is yours to describe and imagine.

Edit: Dar won't rank-up until she kills her first giant spider. And I'll give her one spell when she does. You can pick the spell, or I can pick it for you. The loot will be determined once the encounter is over. Since I'm speeding things along, the horned rabbits will have less health and do less damage.

Dar: 7 HP, 4 DMG
Horned Rabbits: 1 HP, 1 DMG

Rend (Day 2): Second Encounter
Sylise was once a thriving human settlement, before the goblins attacked and destroyed it. Their main export was the spider silk gathered from the giant spiders living deeper in the heavily forested woodland. And while the humans were now gone, Rend and her minions still needed to show the proper respect to the village's newest residents: the Brownies.

Brownies are a subspecies of trolls, shaped like adult goblins but with a disproportionately large head with an even bigger mouth lined with razor-sharp teeth. Brownies are carnivorous and are not afraid to attack larger creatures, such as humans and ranked-up goblins. Like all trolls, the bite of a brownie carries diseases. Unlike trolls, brownies are resistant to all manners of poison. Brownies attempt to lure their prey in by acting innocent and harmless, holding their hands together and folding their large ears downward while keeping their mouths closed and emitting soft, cute noises.

Such was the case when Rend and her team entered the old settlement and began searching the destroyed buildings for embereyes. They were not too far into their search when they heard what sounded like a child crying. Moving over to investigate, they found a lone brownie and tried to kill it quickly. But instead of dying to their surprise attack, the creature threw it's head back, revealing it's huge maw with two rows of seemingly endless teeth and letting loose a howl that was soon echoed by many others. The brownie then turned and bit off the head of one of Rend's minions, killing it instantly.

OOC: You can pick which goblin just died.

Rend: 6 HP, 4 DMG
Brownie: 4/8 HP, 3 DMG

Rend's Loot (from the Fae Lights):
- 6x Small Venom Sacs
- 5x Globs of Glittering Goop
- 10x Black Cohoshes
- 50 Gold Pieces

Dar will get hers after her next kill. I'm also going to speed up the story, so expect some twists. As far as the rank-ups go, Rend will become a Kitsune and Dar will become a Warlock (orc mage). Frisk will have to choose between Orc, Hobgoblin, Fae, Vampire, Ghoul or Elemental Lord.

Frisk: Day 2
Once King was gone, Baphoof stepped forward to take charge of the interrogation and torture. He was a short goblin with a bald head and long, greying hair around his ears, with bind, milky white eyes. What really stood out about him though, was the fact that his lips had been split-in-two a few years ago by a rival's axe. Now 'Baphoof' was the only sound he could make whenever he tried to say his own name. When Baphoof asked Frisk to explain himself, the older goblin quickly realized that Frisk was just too stupid to be guilty.

Spoiler

"Very well," Baphoof declared loudly, so all present could hear his words and understand their meaning. "Clearly, you are a fool and thus too stupid to convict of the crimes you have been accused! That said, we still have to kill you -- before your foolery can spread and infect us all with your madness. Kill him!!" But just then...

"Enough! I am a god now, and will not be treated this way any longer!!" It was No-name. With King gone, he had suddenly lost his cowardice and found his courage, deciding in his great wisdow that now was the perfect time to make his grand escape. "Taste my power you cretins, and I shall taste your fear!"

That was when the red jewel stuck firmly in the middle of No-name's chest became a blinding beacon of red light. Covering their eyes, the goblins then all reached for their weapons to strike down the traitor -- but it was already too late. Once the light had dimmed and then faded completely from their eyes, they all saw that No-name was now gone. In his place however, was a wondrous, new world that none of them had ever seen before. No-name hadn't blinded them and then ran off, he had sent them to somewhere else.

OOC
Explore this new area. Whatever acid-trip adventure you come up with will be just fine.

Dar: Day 3
"Before I can teach you anything," Akta said to Dar, basically repeating what she had said to Rend the day before. "We must first nurture the spark sleeping within you by immersing you in magic. Your first task will be to bring me 10x black cohosh roots and 5x embereyes seeds."

"The black cohosh is about twice your size with a long, smooth stem. The leaves are large and sharp, usually arranged in sets of three around the stem. The flowers are white and have no petals. They also have a distinctly sweet, fetid smell that attracts flies, gnats, and beetles. You only need the roots, but I won't scold you if you decide to bring the rest of the plant. They can be found almost anywhere in the forest."

"Embereyes on the other hand, only grow where fire has scorched the earth. To the west, deep within the forest, you will find an abandoned, human village. We destroyed it many years ago and set fire to the remains. You should find them growing there. Embereyes have a circular arrangement of large, thick, fleshy, red leaves. Not only that, but they glow and radiate warmth. Be careful, when in the heart of the forest, or else you will end up as a spider's dinner. Giant spider dwell within the heart of the forest. If you get caught in their webs, you will never escape."

"Your second task will be to bring me back a log capable of producing a wand. Only a minority of trees can produce wand quality wood, and it takes years of experience to tell which ones have this gift. Luckily for you however, I know where such a tree is. Head down the mountain, keeping the waterfall on your left, until you reach the sea. There you will find a large stone that I have blessed. You will know the stone by the circle in it's belly. Touch the stone and the magic inside will lead you to the second- and third stones. Touch all three and the garden will be revealed to you. Speak to Mocharr and she will give you an axe to harvest the wood -- do not kill the tree. Just bring me back a branch."
