In Topic: Ensoku Motion Comics - What do you need made?

A sincere thanks to everyone who took the time to reply (and check out our site!)! :D

I'm summarizng everyone's comments and suggestions (site wise and series pick-up wise) to the team, and the main programmer also reads this thread as well.

-----------------------------------

Do you think the team would prefer manga that's already been scanlated and thus more known in the west or is something interesting but either dropped by scanlators for whatever reason or never translated in the first place acceptable too? I'm all for some more eccentric/non-cliche manga, but I'm not sure there's much demand for these (if I were to judge by the amount of my favourite manga being stuck in translation limbo for years, I'm afraid it's too big of a niche to get very popular).

Any suggestion is great! Stuff that's kinda niche is actually easier to pick up for us, but stuff that's really popular already scanlation-wise (or in the West) benefits us a lot popularity-wise which will help us expand more. For example, Murcielago is one of our most popular titles overseas even though there is no English translation at the moment. The popularity prompted us to start English and Traditional Chinese translations, so you should see this release in English soon. So views and feedback definitely help everyone. :D

-----------------------------------

@  Chocolate Chip & Yan Q - Thanks for the feedback! Could you guys (or anyone) explain the resistance to Flash? Our releases are also available on Nyaa and Youtube, but in a highly limited fashion compared to the main site so far.

-----------------------------------

Just found your website yesterday thanks to a link on nyaa. At first I was weirded out by it, but as I got used to it and found stuff I liked, I discovered that it was pretty cool and new. Kind of refreshing. Though before I was used to it, it was a massive pain to find stuff. Now I can navigate pretty well on it, but I believe something like a PROJECTs or COMICS tab would do wonders on it. Unless I'm a retard and didn't see it.

I would like more, how to say, cute stuff? Azukinochi had my inner fangirl jumping around like crazy from the second half of what is released right now (withouth mentioning I'm totally into yankee girls. The gap moe in them is the best) And I liked pretty much "the witch who can't fly is just what?".

And I don't know how popular it's in the "West" but I like genderbend/traps a lot. Like stuff by Mitohi Matsumoto or Kamaboko Red is just godly to me. I've been wanting to read this for a while https://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=69601and mangas related to it

And stuff with monstergirls. At least I believe that's somewhat popular right now (maybe) and I'm into that, too. The only thing left that I like would be stuff with imoutos, but I'm not really knowledgeable about how popular is that on english audiences.

And two things. One, I've noticed that "Taipei Zoo Story" lacks episode 7. Two, based on mangaupdates, my own limited knowledge of japanese, everything I've seen so far from the comic itself, unless my ears are becoming dysfunctional "My brother is my idol!" should be "My brother is my rival!"

PS: Drinking coffee while watching "breaktime with cafe-chan" makes both the cafe and the comic so much better.

Wow thanks so much for watching! Glad Nyaa is deeming to be effective. The staff will be ecstatic to see all this feedback about specific releases. We'll work on making stuff easier to find for sure, and are brainstorming right now!

By PROJECTS tab, are you referring to a separate tab for our SAY-U projects?

More moe and cute stuff is needed, duly noted. We'll log your series suggestions, too. :D
I also suggest Stop Time - a super cute and hilarious one about time travel!

Yeah, she says My Brother is My Rival, but the authors can choose the English titles, so it seems she wanted My Brother is my Idol for some reason. I'll double check, though!
Glad you saw Taipei Zoo Story, I was about to recommend it. Did you know that the original comic is actually from Taiwan? We translated it into Japanese in house. I'll forward the info about the missing ep!

I want to thank you for posting this. I really love watching/listening to vomics, manga 2.5, and drama cds. The problem with those is that they aren't translated to English most of the time, so I'm really glad to know about Ensoku.

When I tried to search for romance manga in the search option, I only got one result. It seems like web manga are cateforized only by their length?

I can't speak for the majority, but I would love more romance manga. I just watched all of the episodes for Azukinochi and I really love it. I also watched some other ones as well. The Say-U ones are interesting as well.

And thanks so much for replying. I let the team know about the categories.

Do you have any specific titles in mind? Web manga or published or anything is totally fine.

Next ep for Azukinochi is on Tuesday! Episode update schedule : http://mcs.ensoku.club/pub/release-calendar  :D

Free is nice, free and good is better. Personally I enjoy horror mangas.

P.S.: This might be easier if you guys put up a survey?

Thanks so much for the reply. If you like Horror, "she asks at midnight" - http://mcs.ensoku.club/set/1118 was pretty creepy.

Do you have any horror titles in mind that you want in motion comic form?

I forwarded the team about the survey. We're still new and unknown, though, so we have to scout to find out what the public wants. :D
