I came to this area to the forums to see about suggesting that Batoto add an option to be able to view all the pages of a manga chapter at once. Unlike many other users, though, I first did my research to see if the suggestion had been brought up before.

 

It had.

 

Many times.

 

Unfortunately, in over half of those created threads, the entirety of the replies were just "this has already been brought up" and links to those topics. And then in half of the linked topics, the entirety of the replies to those topics were MORE "this has already been brought up" replies with links to still MORE topics.

 

So I had to go through a ton of threads to find any actual information on the subject, and I still don't feel I'm getting the whole picture.

 

I think it would be a good idea to avoid the issue of people creating multiple topics on the same subject, since it seems to be a popular one, by creating a sticky with the official response to this suggestion. If people still create new topics and ignore the sticky, then it would much easier to reply to those topics with a single link to the sticky.

 

Also, if it's truly not ever going to be done, it would be great to have that information added to the "suggestions which will not be implemented" section of https://vatoto.com/forums/topic/10478-list-of-community-suggestions-we-are-going-over/

 

I'd like to close by saying that Batoto used to be the #1 manga reader for me, and was the reason I got involved in the scanlation community for a time. Reading whole chapters at a time is so much more convenient, though, that I've started to visit other sites which have this feature.

My biggest interests are gaming, manga, music, language, and psychology. My MBTI is INTP. I play the French Horn, trumpet, and piano, and have been playing since I was 10 (I'm 22 now). I have played in several bands from middle school into college, one of which has won multiple trophies at the high school state competition level. I have sung bass and baritone parts in several choirs, including Chamber, Jazz, and Gospel.

My favorite games (and series) include Castlevania, Metroid, Zelda, Half-life, Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Neverwinter Nights, StarCraft, WarCraft, Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, and many, many others. Gaming is basically the #1 thing I do.

My favorite manga series are Dramacon, Yotsuba&!, Eyeshield 21, Shaman King, One Piece, Full Metal Alchemist, Death Note, Ouran High School Host Club, Skip Beat, Air Gear, Team Medical Dragon, Sun-Ken Rock, Blackjack, Gunslinger Girl, Gamble Fish, Toradora, Honeymoon Salad, Imadoki, and many, many others.

I'm quite friendly and helpful, and have a really good sense of humor. I'm not that great at interacting with others in real life, though I do enjoy it. I like talking about myself in places like this because I so rarely get to do so in real life.

I would very much like to see a "Violence" tag. Yes, there is already a "Mature content" warning, but that is very general, and often does not explain why the manga is mature. Obviously it's probably sexually explicit if it has either a Smut or Ecchi tag, but there are many mangas that are mature just for their violent content. Some people are very sensitive to gore and violence, and I believe it would be helpful for them to have that tag, to avoid them. Series I would consider as having extreme violence include Btooom!!, Sun-Ken Rock, Gamble Fish, Jigokuren, Hohzuki Island, etc.

I, for one, would like to have greater control over my list of follows. Currently we can only list it by most recent updates. How about we get some more options, like:
Arranging follows by alphabetical order,
by length of series,
by how many chapters you've already read in that series,
by author,
by genre,
by most recently-read,
and by scanlation group.

I also would greatly enjoy the use of a system in which we could drag and drop our follows to make our own custom order.
