if we are going the hard way why not troll new chs after some pages (since nobod wants an incomplete ch) .......like for a 40 pages ch after 10 pages(1/4 of whole release) it shows

that way those agrregator using bots will have to either follow rules or upload half baked chs and those with no bots just gets bang we need to log in for viewing in great quality  or wait for some day

Since everybody is talking about 1-2 weeks delay I am shipping on it though I think delay or not must be consented by uploaders while uploading a ch

the equation is pretty simple:

 

they make it hard for bots >> new / casual users go other place. >> apps stop working >> batoto lost more views and mouth to mouth publicity. >> batoto closes/ became so irrelevant that scans will post other place.

lets say the forum dont let you read anything without registering.

 

how many people wil do it ? 

 

new people enter a forum see a blank board. they create account to check what could be blocked or you leave ?

I agree with you but I don't see problem in delaying release for guests, it is not like they are banned batoto I think is a pretty good site respecting privacy an choice unlike other sites it have ananoymous logins and follows which are really a bonus

agree a week delay for non member would be the best instead not letting them read anything, also a page to encourage people to read it at batoto for every manga(for non members only), because 3 years ago I'm a former reader from leecher website but this page made me visit batoto and it took me a year to become a member.

So why not try it again and make it more direct 

I personally started batoto after I read all those post (after spending about 6 months on those shitty sites because I used to think they are talking shit ,some sites even remove those pages so I noticed it much later ).

I think it is a good move atleast people will get to know about batoto more

 

Truth is:  Batoto go private >> new "batoto" appear >> batoto became the e-penis status" " I use batoto".

 

believe me i had a fansub. when re encode was a thing.. those infamous mp4 80mb.

 

i did something similar. 

 

result : before i had 2000 downloads + episode.  time my episode take to get ripped to rencode site 45 minutes.

 

after : 350 dls - 60 minutes.

 

batoto will die and noone will remember it in a few months

 

Yeah there is also that issue I personally think it is scanlator choice and most in this business knows what batoto is we are here by our own choice to host our material here so I don't think new batoto will crop up soon since this site is by scanlator and as long as trust between batoto and scanlator is strong (which is not gonna go soon) there is no problem for that, since we have our good old batoto  anyway only those agree gator sites will have those problems
