I've been even more absent because my best friend—my non-romantic, separate-location-residing life-partner—died from a massive heart attack in his late 40s because he was TOO STUBBORN TO GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM. Grr. This also flared up all my illness' symptoms.

Anyone want premium, organic, Pacific Northwest bunny poop? No? Anyone? (I'm disabled from a constant illness & my most reliable litter-box volunteer was stealing money from me. Sigh. I gotta find a local composting fanatic!)

Many bad things happened again; I did what I could. One guy I've seen a handful of times breaks a promise to me & is arrogantly defensive, saying out of nowhere that I'm not doing everything I could to perfectly manage my health. WHY IS THIS THE THING THAT BOTHERS ME?!? Whew. Thanks.

I've been hearing the same things. Like how I'm a hypochondriac and how "things can't be as bad as I say they are" and so on. It's pretty discouraging, as well as convincing; for a while I really thought I was exaggerating like people were telling me, and tried telling myself to get over it and grow up. It didn't make it hurt any less.

It's way belated of me, but Haru~ & Horn, your replies helped. Thanks!

I kept typing because the Status Update text box let me, but now my posts end in ... and I can't expand them. Is that expected behavior, or do I just not know where to click? Thanks!

Sorry I didn't reply before. MY AC DIED. Because of the nature of Still's Disease, I got reallllllly sick. So sick, I LOST MY PAIN MEDS. Well, 1.5 day's worth. And it was near the refill time, so I had to spend three nights without pain meds. Well, the last was fine, because thanks to Washington State voters, I was able to get cannabis tincture once I found someone who was able to go get it for me. Of course, my helper is a morning person with a morning shift, and the local MJ sto...

BTW again, I'm allergic to my new AC. [head meets desk] I had my helper wash out the tubing & filter, so although my throat's a little irritated, at least it doesn't hurt to breathe & I'm not coughing anymore. The rest should off-gas eventually. I swear, my body's like a needle on a seismograph. Uh, the earthquake-detector-thingy, right? Too tired to look it up.

Thanks for asking, really. I'm not going to die, I have a good sense of humor, and some childhood friends have offered to help me with paperwork even though they're on the East Coast & I'm in the Pacific Northwest of the USA so... I'm okay.
I've made a lot of progress over the past four years and, although recently I got a bit worse with my body symptoms (fever, pain, dizziness, passing out, nausea, visual disturbances, allergies) and overall stillsdisease...

I'm trying to figure out if I can be an occasional, back-up scanlation proofreader, even though I'm so constantly ill that I'm often home-bound. I'm thinking through my limitations and how to work around them. Certainly, I'm not reliable in the sense of tasks such as answering emails quickly, but I was a professional tech writer, editor and trainer. I like keeping my skills up to prepare for all best possible futures, so I've done wiki editing as I could with good resu...

Updated folk chant: When in danger or in doubt, run in circles, scream and shout, or if you're me just go pass out.

Well when I used to live in Australia, I'd try and buy second, or buy Japanese (they were cheaper), now that I'm in Indonesia for work, I buy the local language, since I have to learn it anyway.
Otherwise I buy online, yeah.

I've picked up several that way. They don't usually have what I'm after. >_> But browsing the big wall is a lot of fun, too. Found a couple random things that way as well.

Well, when you get to know the shop staff, I leave them with a list of things I'm after and they'll contact me if the buy any pre-owned (or books they think I'd like)
