Ah yeah quite a few do that, I like the character personally. Try Warlock Magus, Release that Witch, and Emperor of Solo Play they're quite good but not the same genre as ISSTH, Emperors dominion is like ISSTH but not as repetitive so you could try that too

I recently got Joshua as a partner, I was properly upset when Eri disappeared though! It's been a couple months so i don't clearly remember the story. You have my permission to spoil/refresh the story up to that point ;p
My DS sleepless game was KH 358/2 Days. I was on the Saix battle and spent nearly an hour going "after I die this time, I'll go to sleep". Of course I never did and finished the game at 3:30 in the morning...good times.

I've never tried that kingdom hearts game, my DS sorta broke and I've never gotten around to buying a new one. You'll definitely love the rest of TWEWY from that point on because in gets deep, never had a DS game get me hooked like that, I absolutely wish for a TWEWY sequel though.
