Introduction
There are a lot of comics here I want to read and every day that number just keeps increasing.
In order to keep track of them, I open each one in a new tab and read them when I have the time to do so.
That's when I was thinking a Watch Later queue, similar to My Follows would be helpful.
What it's supposed to do
- Allow the user to quickly find comics that were added to it, similar to "My Follows".
- (optional) Keep track of the last chapter read.
- Automatically remove comics that have been placed in My Follows.
- (optional) Sort comics by number of chapters to help user empty the queue faster by reading shorter comics first.
What it's not supposed to do
- Update when new chapters are uploaded.
- Suggest new comics.
Undefined
- Should a comic be removed from the list, if it hasn't been read by the user for a long time?
Advantages inherited from My Follows
- Comics can be tracked cross-browser/device without having to syncronize tabs, links, or bookmarks.
- Keeps the browser's tab bar and bookmark folder clean and clutter-free.
Advantages over My Follows
- Prevents accidentally reading the newest chapter (containing spoilers), when new chapters are being uploaded.
This is essentially a simpler and more basic My Follows, so it shouldn't be too hard to implement.
