Once upon a time, when I was around six, and my older brother was a teenager with an attitude problem - which was increased nine-fold by the unfortunate fact that he was quite attractive - the worst day of the year rolled around. Valentines day. 

 

My brother returned from his schools prom quite disgusted - he had chocolates, cards, and teddy bears in tow. Most of this (sans the cards, which by this time were already in the trash) were immediately given to me, which I quite enjoyed, although I planned on ripping off all the ribbons, hearts, and frilly dresses from the teddy bears.

 

But as I inspected the teddy bears, one set caught my troubled six year-old eyes. I exclaimed something along the lines of "Oh, gross!" which caught my brother's attention - two bears, one wearing a bow tie, and one a skirt, had magnets set in each of their paws, as though they were clasping hands - but it got worse - there was a magnet in each snout, as well. 

 

The bears were locked together in an eternal snog.

 

My other siblings had gathered around by this time, and began to tease my bro into a rage.

 

He grabbed the teddies, then he ran into my dad's tool room, and grabbed a hammer and nails. At that moment, I knew they weren't coming back unscathed.

 

I pursued my brother into the backyard out of morbid curiosity, but when I saw the ladder he was carrying, I knew his plan wasn't one of simple disfiguration - those poor bears weren't coming back at all.

 

He leaned the ladder against the old wooden castle in our yard, and I heard him hammering away. By the time he was finished, a small crowd of onlookers were watching, waiting to see his handiwork.

 

It was a gruesome sight.

 

The teddies were crucified to the castle wall by hands and feet, but he had left them close enough together that there hands were clasped in a final, magnetic grip that would never be separated.

 

They served as a paintball target for my older siblings for almost six years, until - paint-splattered, rain-weather and riddled with holes - they were torn down when the castle itself was destroyed.

 

R.I.P Romeobear and Julieteddy.

if you could be anyone in the world right now who would you be and why?

I would want to be the Queen of England, because I just want to know how it would feel to be that old and have some influence in the government, perhaps giving Northern Territory their freedom and see how do they fair without England. 

If I can be someone that is already dead, well that is easy Elizabeth Bathory, The Blood Countress of Hungary before she was immured, because I think I would like to experience the mentality of why she kills many young girls and bath in their blood does it happen support her belief that bathing in blood will make her youthful ? Honestly I would be all ack!The though of washing ones hair in blood is just irks me in to wrong way.
