According to the Jan 1 update (fed through the Google translator), the illustrator Hotaru Takana seems to be past the worst of it, but is still convalescing.

So, as someone who can't follow these original messages from the creators, does that mean that at some point in the future it will come off hiatus? Or should I just resign myself to drowning in a pool of my own tears?

From what he stated on his blog on the 03/28/13 it seems (he? didn't read that thouroughly...) had some problems with his teeth, maybe we can hope that it will continue soo this year...

Also,please people,don't use fuugle translations, they suck and give nothing but crap for a translation that's not even fit to be short-synopsis...
Well,I sympathize with you guys who don't want to learn Japanese but still, it would be better to install Rikai-chan and read among the lines instead of using translation services...

Ahh,nothing beats learning foreign languages though (like how I am writing in English now despite it not being my mothertongue xD), so for the time being, how about you guys pick up some Japanese, too?

I would like to learn Japanese, to read and write but not sure of the methods... I'd prefer if it was free and I did kinda learn a bit how to pronounce some stuff from watching anime[only watch subbed, cause Japanese voice actors are amazing]

 

Anyways, does anyone have any news on what is happening with this manga?

According to what I barely understood through Google Translate, the manga is still planned to be continued once the author is back at full strength.
So let us hope she/he recovers quickly so that we can have more Iris Zero !

When I GoogleTranslated the page it said: "rabbit meal omnivore blog". I'm not sure what to make of this.

That must "mustard is joy" line cracks me up each time I read it, that can't be what they actually wrote.

Anyway this seems to support the idea that Google translate is pretty useless. I think if the original was read out for me i'd probably understand more than I did after translating with Google.

Curious what will happen though when it gets back in full swing, I did like this, though I barely remember it anymore in terms of what happened and who the character were.
