I was recently returned of some sketches I handed in that were in my VAPD.
I'm only slowly starting to take photos of them (because the other half is crap), but I was excited to share them with you guys.
Here are two sketches I did quickly at a café on a napkin and stuck into the process journal.. "orz
Contrary to popular belief, I'm not at all satisfied with the way I sketch.
It looks horrible and proportions are out. I've been trying to study realism, starting with still life, but it's obvious that whatever I've been doing hasn't worked out for me yet.
Constructive criticism is very much welcomed, and tips on how I can practice are warmly invited.
Asides from studying anatomy textbooks and doing quick sketches outside, I'm not sure how else to get rid of my childish style.
