The last chapter said the next chapter would be out in issue 10 does that mean this manga had the month of October off? If so seems odd considering October has Halloween and all.

But some of the production says its halted for some reason.
and chapter 33 to 35 aren't translated but i can't wait to read them when they are.

Good afternoon people reading this. I\ve got news..
I don't know if something like this must be posted.. I'ved search for details why has the chapters been "stopped". It seems the scanlator, who was an American citizen, got some bad news for us..
Well he says that Sankarea had been licensed in America and made them stop their project.

Since I'm from the Philippines, I feel sorry that something like that happened. I wish Filipinos out there would be active at stuff related to manga and anime.. I know most of them could speak English well and as well as Japanese. since the scanlator of this project will be stopping, I wish someone would continue it. I'm in no position to do that yet..
There hasn't been any law in the Philippines about manga and anime stuff. So I guess it's just fine.
Anyway, It was told by them that instead, we should support the writer in his works by buying his volumes..
PS: Once I start to live by my own, I'll probably live for these kind of stuff. =)

So the Scanlators say they have to stop the project but will finish what chapters they have started which sounds like 3 or 4. Any news on if they released those chapters yet? Also is anyone else picking up this project and/or have these chapters already released?
