I spotted a small error in an early chapter, so i was just thinking i should post this, and maybe have it a thread in case other errors/mistakes are noticed^^

So far: somewhere in chapter 5 "hoti agni" is spelled as "hoto agni".

....that's all i've found XD.

(If it's even the tiniest of bothers to fix, and it takes unneccesary time, i wouldn't care. but since it's an early chapter... just thought i'd tell)

EDIT: (addings)

Asvins is spelled Ashuwins where Agni perform "reparation magic" in chapter 8.

Quarter is spelled Quatli'iul (something) in somewhere chapter 2-3 (Gandharva meets Kubera Leez scene)

Funny facts!(for me) that "shock absorbing suit" Agni has, i wish i could give my smaller brother one*evil grin*

In chapter 15 Garuda is spelled Garudaga o,O

I actually once sent a whole list of translation issues to The Company for the first 45 chapters or so, mainly different use of terms and name fixes. xP The chapters with the most issues are the first 15 or so, back when the scanlators didn't have the benefit of context and didn't have the blog to know the correct spelling, so it's quite understandable. After that though, the quality really shoots up. :D

The only real big mistake (that I know of) seems to be in chapter 6. The description of magicians should be something like "That was the true meaning, however humans had lost a lot of things because of the powers of the Suras and swore that they would stand on the side of the gods, and cut all relationships with Suras; magicians just became 'humans who used the powers of gods'." (this is how a Korean translated that part for me. I got suspicious at first because theories I stumbled upon in the KuCa took that part differently)

The rest are mostly just names and stuff. :D

Just a small note that re-dos of the earlier chapters are planned and will be happening after we catch up with the current raws, including corrections of spelling/grammar mistakes, translation errors and general disparities in style. Be assured that we do know which mistakes need addressing; we will of course be double-checking against Mizura's list and any other errors reported by readers in the meantime, but no need for an active search on our behalf:)

Thanks for confirming that again! You guys are awesome, fixing the older chapters is nothing but extra work for you, but it will really make reading older chapters again more pleasant for the rest of us. Not to mention, it will also be great for new readers. :D

Please take your time, you're already doing a lot for us, and we all appreciate it! :D

I've been wanting to create a thread like this one since I started translating Kubera into Spanish, but since the scanlators promised to fix those errors, I've never did it. We could fix some of those "errors" in the Spanish version, but still, it's full of other incoherences. :P

As Mizura said, the first 15-20 chapters are the ones with more mistakes. It's quite noticeable when the people scanlating Kubera changed, since some names changed (i.e. oracle -> priestess), the sentences' structures became more complex, and the register was a lot more formal. Also, there are some sentences that would sound strange to a native English speaker at first, as I could realize when asking friends and in forums. But maybe sometimes there isn't a more natural way to translate it while keeping all the nuances.
