The plot in this manga is just like Toradora!'s. By working together closely in a mutually beneficial setting to further each other's goal(mostly the same in both mangas - improving relationships with the opposite sex) they steadily grow more intimate as they continue to assist one another then unintentionally develop amorous feelings for each other.

That said, there are some key differences from Toradora! in the plot's details that have high potential to impact the story in a big way. The most glaring of those are the two protagonist's previous "encounter" with a member of the same sex. Aside from them being a main factor in the original motivation for their respective goals, the fact remains that the people involved in the protagonist's "same-sex encounter" have only been referred to during recollections of the past. As they are a basis for the current drive of the protagonists, the likelihood that they will show up and cause copious amounts of comedic gold is almost a certainty. Frankly speaking, the mangaka would have to have a brain made of squirrel shit to NOT do this.

'k, all done.

but the red string is they still bound to each other

I can see the similarities with Toradora, but it seems like both Hime-sensei and Suou-kun are far more in touch with their feelings. We are hardly that far and they are already beginning to develop and partial recognize their feelings for each other. In Toradora Ryuuji and Taiga do all sorts of rather embarrassing stuff together but they don't seem to realize it until much much later in series.

yup, basically Toradora set-up with a less memorable supporting cast and more self awareness.

  • LocationUK....probably.

would have been a great story if that was what actually happened after chapter 10

the last 4 chapters almost felt like a different story.
