Well, first, I've as of now read up to chapter 10, so spoilers ahead for who hasn't.


Anybody noted how there are no mothers?
The main girl, the yakuza girl who likes the penguin, and the main guy's adoptive sister, all three are girl/father families. And thief girl's got neither mother nor father.

Edit: my bad, actually there's the hippo mother, I forgot.
