Wow, [Chapter 6] was a very emotional chapter. Although Chitose lives on in Niina, she is now considered a stranger by her former family. The heartbreak left behind in the wake of her former incarnation's death has really shaped her previous family. It's probably agonizing for Niina to witness her former family's hurt and being unable to find a way to comfort them. She just can't say that she was Chitose--who would believe her?

Yeah.
Although I can imagine taking that route . . . I mean, she surely knows a lot of things that her current incarnation couldn't possibly know, and would be able to naturally fall into patterns of interaction that would convince them deeper than logic. But in terms of the emotion and feel of the manga, it'd take it in a very different direction . . . the results might not be good, but at any rate they'd be kind of a different manga.
How's it going, Liar?
