It does all seem a bit set up, but no one has went after the coffin since the first season so I'm not too sure. The gap between Rai's disappearance and the betrayal is about 320 years just fyi, you're probably right about them biding their time for the perfect opportunity, I mean new Lord, no Noblesse, and only one clan leader with the strength to face them, seems like the best time if you ask me haha.Well if thats the case why did the Union have Rai's coffin... it is stated that they probibly didn't know Rai was sleeping in it but still it all seems way too conveinent almost like it was all set up... Then again we don't know anything about what happened back then so its hard to say what exacly happened all we know is Rai was forced to use enough power to cause him to hibernate.... Actually thinking about it... there is a gap of 400 to 500 years between Rai's disapearance and the betrayal... could they have gotten rid of Rai and then bided their time waiting for the perfect chance to leave Lukdonia?
