When I came across this manga, as a sequel to Otogi Moyou Ayanishiki, I couldn't resist starting a discussion in the hopes that other lovers of Hikawa Kiyouko's stories would post on it so we could discuss/argue back and forth. I've been a fan of hers ever since reading Chizumi and Fujiomi, and absolutely love the prequel to this. I am really happy that there is a new series being scanlated, and I'm really looking forward to the enjoyment/frustration of reading/waiting for new chapters.

I have really enjoyed Hikawa Sensei's other works that I have found, and I anticipate that this is going to be fully as enjoyable as the first series. I love her artwork, especially the character's expressions, and I also love the stories and characters. Her stories are not clichéd, and her characters have a great deal of depth, something that many writers never manage to achieve.

Since there is only one chapter so far, I am left with a lot of speculation. Are the acting troupe possessed or part of the bad guys? Will it take several volumes to reach Kyoto? (I am assuming this is before the Meiji period.) What is in store for our Heroic MC and Spunky Heroine? As you can see, I am anxiously awaiting chapter 2, thanks to our heroic scanlators.

I am also a fan of Hikawa Kiyouko and happy to meet another one. Unfortunately, I went to the japanzai website and they've listed this work as dropped. TT.TT I hope another group will pic it up soon.
