With the "Writer's Club" in full bloom, it's comforting to see numerous talents coming
forward and posting their own work. I wont drop names because I'm not even sure
who to name here, but whoever he/she/it/potato is should be damn proud of what
he/she/it/potato has done. Truly Batoto has a number of artists in their own field and right.
So after much contemplation, and a few confirmation sessions, I've decided to
contribute to this wonderful community and post a decade old romance
"manuscript" I worked on before. This one is special to me, for some reason
left unsaid. With that being said (or unsaid) I'll introduce the concept of the Neverender.
The Neverender is a 4-chapter story told in a series of poems written by me. The premise,
characters, plot and all that other stuff will be introduced in poem form. It may be unclear
sometimes and the form factor does have a certain roughness to it but I do hope you'll read
it and I'll enjoy reading your honest and constructive feedback. Let's start, the Neverender...

The Start of the Neverender
-seyrine_13
With pen and paper, I dare write
A tale that has been on my mind
A simple one, from me to you
With simple words and emotions true
Why do I write this tale you ask?
Like a fool that keeps his eyes on the past
and relive memories as clear as dreams
Dreams that show more than it seems
Think of this convoluted tale
as a way to freshen my stale
reason to why I still sing our song
out of tune, but playing on and on
Now I’m full of cream and coffee
Time to head back and start the story
My voice is weak, so come a little closer
Let’s begin, The Neverender
