Chap 35&36 raws reveal that Aika was a magician (maybe a strong magician, possibly stronger than Hakaze).
Can't read Japanese but it looks like Aika knew about what would happen after her death.
My guest is that Aika made Hakaze kill her, or Aika committed suicide.
Anyone cares to discuss his/her theory?

After looking at chap 37, I'm pretty sure that princess Hakaze would kill Aika aka "the scheming imouto."

Hakaze's was no match for Aika. And oh the irony that with Hakaze going back in time she might've been the one that ultimately was the cause for Aika having to kill herself to give her and the boys a chance against Genesis.

Hanamura beating the crap out go them in ch 38 was for their lack of emotion after hearing what happened with Aika.

Nobody knows what the suicide note she left behind says because it's sealed until they defeat the Genesis Tree.

Hey whadda ya know? I hadn't wanted to check the spoilers until now, but this clears a lot of stuff up! Guess my idea of Aika having the heart of Zetsuen wasn't so far off after all.

I have't check spoilers until now ...but i can't take it anymore ...i want to see them i want to know it is crazy right?
the story is really so GREAT that i can't talk about it..but i have something to ask....
the spoilers....is there a way to download it even in japanese.

Is it me or any of you felt that image of cute and gentle Aika with two double handed swords kind sucked out whole reason out of this title? I don't think its was good idea to make her most powerful character in whole world without ANY even most vague hint for few hundreds of pages.

So many dialogues and monologues was based on girl being killed by a murderer, why would you want to make it feel so pointless (is it certain that she commit suicide? Is there any explanation about dead parents?) If someone doesn't understand what I'm talking about they should check korean manhwa Trace.

Basically after those spoilers I feel bad and I will probably drop it for a year or something.

the last chapter of the manga was reeeeeally amazing *O*!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

the ending of the anime and the ending of the manga differe in A LOT of things, and it's really a shame because there are some parts of the "real" ending that desserved to be adaptated

 

But you know what? I don't care, because the "LAST" page of the manga showed a really superv moment *-* and because I finally had the chance to see mahiro's new girlfriend xD!!!!!

even if the anime didn't give me the ending that I wanted, the manga DID! >_<!!!
