Xenogears, its sophisticated, great music score, cool cast of characters.  Its one of the inspirations that motivated me to make my own rpg.

For me, it's a tie between Psychonauts and RWBY: Grimm Eclipse. It's too hard to decide between these two, because Psychonauts had a diverse set of character and unique gameplay that no one else could replicate, and Grimm Eclipse had the amazing soundtrack of Jeff Williams behind it and appealed to the primitive mentality of strategically killing large hordes of enemies.

Presently Dustforce.  Think supermeatboy but 100x harder.  This is because of the physics for one (people complain the controls are hard) and that there is a lot of tech you need to learn to be successful.  Things that aren't taught but learned.  After 550+ hours I am still learning new tech and am improving my skill in it still.  Mainly because I have a friend explain new things to me and how to do them.  Also, it's ridiculously easy to die as everything kills you.  You often have to be "frame perfect" for many movements in order to not mess up!

Other games that have had a lasting impression on me: Ultima Online, Everquest, Tribes 2, Quake, WoW (arena).

There are some short games which are fun.  But these games I spent hours upon hours on honing my 'skills' in.  Lol
