This isn't a voting topic, with percentages and all that, but just a place to say who you like best and why.
My favorite character has to be Hiiragi. Her maturity and seriousness about almost everything is one of the funniest and most endearing things I've come across in a manga yet. She goes after everything 100%, and sees it to the end, while still having fun. Her knowledge is also incredible, from the white portion of fingernails to correcting Yamamoto Sensei on proper kanji. I nearly died laughing over her explanation of Santa Claus. I also love her fascination and skill at cosplay. When playing hide and seek, instead of hiding behind a tree or curtain like the others, she puts on a ninja outfit and goes into the koi pond and breathes through a bamboo tube. She is the five year old that I wanted to be at that age!

Koume, I've always liked the shy ones in manga, and the fact that it's a kindergarden multiplies the adorableness!

Yeah, I agree. Choosing your favorite from these three is like Paris having to choose between the three goddesses. Not that I mean to start a Trojan war! Damn, all of the girls, including the fish-monger's daughter and the Yakuza's daughter are completely adorable. I still love Hiiragi best, as astronomy is one of my first loves. And, Damn it, that girl ROCKS!!!

Same here. I love Hiiragi so much. I read from the omake page that she doesn't even blink. Kinda breaking the 4th wall for the moment there, right? I like the character that tend to do that!

I also like Koume's big brother. I kinda understand his feeling about Koume since she's so cute.

they have a bunch of lovable characters, my favourite one is koume http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1H0yi4VgNoo&list=WL86E4CF8862E6A2FB  (the chapter of the date make my day soo much), hiiragi is a great character for the uniqueness of her, not in any manga you can have someone like her and the way she likes to cosplay and adores his father and knowledge is kyuuute :3 , i also like anzu and tsuchida-sensei, the chapter of christmas in the manga and the anime make me so sad it almost make me cry ... i didn't like the end of the series :'( (it end around the 110 chapter)
