Hello everybody!

Well, seems we're lacking a bit of hands to maintain this website, so, we're looking for help! The following positions are open:

Position: Forum Moderator. (Openings 1~2)
Job Description: Moderating the general forums. This involves tasks such as: removing spam, stopping flame wars, warning misbehaviors in the general forums. Overall, your job will be to keep peace in the community.
Requirements: Someone who is mature, composed and has a lot of common sense. Complete and thorough reading of our forum rules are a must. And above all, we want to know that we can trust you to take the right actions.

We might hire a second person to moderate some of the popular comic forums depending on applicant interest.


Position: Contribution Moderator. (Openings: 1~2)
Job Description: Approval & disapproval of user uploads. This involves tasks such as: reviewing the unapproved queue, responding to requests in QA forums.
Requirements: Training will be taken place first, so please be aware of that. Someone who is mature, composed and has a lot of common sense. Complete and through reading of our forum rules and hosting policies are a must. And above all, we want to know that we can trust you to take the right actions.


Please note that if you do become a moderator, your words will be that of a Batoto staffs'. As such, please be sure to carefully consider what you say and do and/or specify that the words you say are of your own and not of the staffs'.

Time you can dedicate: about 8 hours a day as i can be on all day at school and then when i get home i can do more hours as well so its a lot

Experience: I have experience dealing with people and forums, helped out as a moderator on a game forum and on a forum that mostly dealt with music/updating recent events about certain music artist.

Experience: I use to work for OtakuZone in the anime and manga wiki base so i have lots of experience of over 3 years.
Time you can dedicate: I'm on Batoto for about 4 hours intill everyone signs off. But i tend to go on batoto different times of the day just lurking and checking stuff out.

Position Applying For: Forum Moderator, more likely. Either would certainly be okay, but forum would probably be a better fit for my skill set.
Experience: None as a moderator, but I have an embarrassment of riches in forum experience, maturity, integrity and command of the language.
Time you can dedicate: As many hours as you might need. Free time is something of which I have entirely too much.
Additional Note: I've never moderated a forum, but I've long wanted to. I've been hoping for a while now that this one would want moderators, since it's one I particularly enjoy.

Experience: Ex moderator from mangafox, I got fired because I got a big discussion with the other supermods about their politics, been in multiple forums and have a general knowledge on how to manage most of the situations given.
Time you can dedicate: Per week around 12hs or more, depending if I have exams or not.
Additional Note: I tend to be extremely serious with work, and moderation counts as one, so I may have some attitude changes, like not being goofy anymore.

Additional Notes: Due to the nature of the work, I have met a lot individuals who test your patience and understanding. As long as people follow the rules and maintain a polite conduct within the forums, there shouldn't be any problem. I have no qualms in enforcing rules.
